You opened the door quickly to see your best friend. As he stood there in front of you. The god of thunder was standing in your doorway looking at you nervously. He was about to speak to try to start a conversation by saying hello or hey.

T: Hello Milady- OOF!

But before he could get out even just a few simple words. You teared up and gave him a hug. As you tried to wrap your arms around him. Thor looked down at you with shock in his eyes. Thor was absolutely shocked that you just ran up and hugged him. He surly thought that you'd yell at him for not talking to you for over a year. Or slam the door in his face and not even wanting to speak to him. But just like always you keep surprising the god with everything you do. No matter how well he knows you or how long he's known you too.

"Thor it's so good to hear your voice again! It's been too long..."
T: I'm so sorry that I didn't come sooner milady. I had to do a couple of things before I could come to see you. 'If I'd known that she'd act like this. I wouldn't have waited to see her.'
"It doesn't matter anymore. Your here now and I'm just so happy to see you again."
T: Yeah it's been a long time hasn't it?

He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you in closer to him. Embracing you in a big hug. He closed his eyes as he smelt your hair. Thor smiled as he closed his eyes. Just enjoying your company and the touch of your skin.

T: 'She still smells like strawberries.' God I've missed you...
"I've missed you too Thor..."

You let go of the god your hands out in the air. But when you were going to back up the god didn't let go of you. You lightly patted his back again wondering what he was doing? While you thought to yourself that this was the longest hug in history.

"Thor...are you okay?"
T: Yes I'm sorry but could just continue for a couple more minutes please?
"Alright there big guy..."

You closed your eyes and lightly smiled as you sighed mentally with joy. When the hug finally broke you stepped back. Your hands were on the side of his arms. Rubbing on them as you smiled. Your eyes were closed as you looked at the god. You instantly saw that something was off. He had a big beard that covered up his handsome face. Your smile and happy face turned into a concerned look and a frown. That made Thor's heart go into his throat.

"Thor you ok there buddy?"
T: Yes of course I am. W-Why do you ask?

You looked at him seeing a fake smile spread across his lips. You looked at his hands as he gripped them into fists. You put a hand on his and brought him inside your room. You went to go close your door and locked it. Just so then no one would accidentally walk in on you two talking. The god sat down on your bed as you stood in front of him.

"Thor...We've been best friends for seven years, and I know you better then you think I do. You know you can trust me with anything."
T: Twelve...

You were a bit confused when he said that. But you stayed quiet knowing that he had to get something off of his chest.

T: I-It's been twelve years since the first day we met.

As tears started making their way into his eyes before he broke down.

"Ok...Thor can you please tell me what's going on with you?"

You saw a tear go down his cheek as you whipped off the tears going down his cheeks. Thor was so mad, he was the one who missed. It was his fault that you died that day.

T: I couldn't talk to you for five years (y/n)...Five years! I-it was all my fault.

He put his head down as you put your hands on his cheeks. You got worried for your friend as you spoke sounding knowingly.
