lazuli's pov
ever since speed rejected me I have been really off, I have been not eating much I don't wanna get out of bed and nobody else knows this but I cry sometimes. This day was no different I was sitting in bed procrastinating getting up until I hear a voice at my door "c'mon sis come eat don't stay in bed all day!" ugh guess I need to get up "fine leafy I will" I sit up and try to get out of bed but fall over and faceplant into my night stand "ow" leafy walks into my room and helps me up " thanks leafy" it was the only thing I could say I felt really embarrassed so I walked out of my room leafy by my side and we started making our way to the kitchen I was humming on the way and so was leafy but we were both off tune. I turned the last corner and low and behold I saw Sylvia kissing SPEED, I saw speed and he saw me too but I wouldn't look him in the eye and before I knew what I was doing I started sprinting away from speed and Sylvia I ran out the door and I heard "LAZULI WAIT! ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE" I started running harder and I felt warm tears running down my face but I would not stop running I ran into the forest and it was hard to traverse but I didn't care I turned my head and saw nobody was chasing me but I realized how stupid it was to turn my head to late because I tripped over something and smashed my head into a tree I felt blood running down my head and I fell unconscious
speeds pov
Sylvia was being annoying like always and cornered me and surprised me with a kiss I tried to pull away but she had wrapped her ribbons around me and it was annoying because I don't like her I regret rejecting lazuli everyday mostly because I actually like her and also Sylvia found out I said no, so she thinks that now I'm all free for her to date me even though I have said I think of her more like a sister then a lover but she doesn't listen like always. I didn't want to hurt her so I just sat there uncomfortably until I saw lazuli and leafy I gave them both 'sorry' eyes leafy understood but I didn't think lazuli understood I tried pushing Sylvia off me but I couldn't, I saw lazuli take off running and then I got mad at Sylvia so I shocked her until she let me go then I took off running lazuli had A head start but I could run faster than her I heard her slam the door so I ran out the house and saw a glimpse of her so I started running after her I yelled out to her "LAZULI WAIT! ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE" she started running harder so I sped up I see her run into the forest so I do the same I see her trip and I try to catch her but I don't make it in time I see that she is bleeding out of the back of her head so I gather up leaves to bandage her head, I realize that she broke her foot so I make a bandage that will keep her leg straight and I get two sticks that are straight enough to use as crutches . by the time I'm done its night and I cant move lazuli or we will be attacked by ghost types so I cant take her home so I sit next to her and watch the trees for movement I sit for a few hours until I hear lazuli stir "wha-where am I?" I turn to lazuli and see she's awake, she looks at me and I can see a wave of realization crash over here she tries to run from me but she obviously cant because her leg is broken I catch her and I can feel her fighting to get away from me but I just sit her down again she knows she cant run so she resigns to sitting there with a scowl, still I need to know if she is ok so I ask "uh lazuli are you feeling ok?" she snaps back "why do you care?"" would you like me to leave you here?" she gives me a look and yells at me "WHY DO YOU CARE IF IM HERE ALONE WHY DO YOU CARE IF IM OK?" hearing her scream at me hurts a little but I have to come clean "because I care about you" then it dawns on me why she is yelling at me "um lazuli are you mad at me because you think I was kissing Sylvia" she looks at me angrily "duh why else would I be mad at you" I know why she's angry so that's a plus but still I do need to explain "ok lazuli let me explain please, so Sylvia heard that I kind of rejected your date and now she thinks that now I'm free for her to date me even though I have told her I think of her as a sister you know how she is" lazuli has a confused face for a second and then she has a apologetic face "oh I'm sorry I shouldn't have run away I shouldn't have yelled at you even though you might've saved my life I understand why you don't like me I'm awful" I feel bad because I did reject her for no reason and I do like her I just didn't feel like going on a date that day so I just got to admit "ok lazuli I do like you I never said I didn't, I'm sorry about rejecting you I was in a bad mood once we get back to the house how about that date?" looks at me with a half confused and half happy face she smiles at me and even though she is a ice type her smile looks warmer then the sun she says "of course I would love too" I realize that now that she is awake we can go home so I say "if I carry you if we get ambushed can you fight back?" she looks pretty beat up but she can still fire off ice beams she says "yeah I can but what if I faint?" I didn't think of that but still I kind of wanna go home so I say "then I will run as fast as I can" she looks a little scared because she knows that I can run very fast but she still says "ok just be careful" so she allows me to pick her up and she wraps her arms around my body so as tonot fall off so I start walking quickly but as quietly as I can we are almost home when I hear lazuli say " your fur is so soft" I can feel myself blush so hard it must have looked like my face was about to explode but still I continued on when we arrived home safely within the second that I opened the door I heard an earsplitting scream "SIS!!!!!!" I don't need to look to know who it is but I still do and I see leafy (big surprise) her eyes are bloodshot as if she had been crying all day which she probably was she sees how bad lazuli looks and I know what she's gonna ask so before she can I say "before you ask how she got like this lets bring her to her room" leafy looks confused and I know why she is wondering how I know what she was gonna ask but still she says "ok" so when we walk down the halls I saw sylvia and she gave me a look and I decided I wanted her to leave me alone and I tried to think of a way to make it so she will leave me alone and I couldn't think of one and I panicked and before I knew what I was doing I lifted lazuli up and looked her in the eyes mumbled "sorry about this" so only she could hear and then I full on kissed her, and it felt amazing I wished it would never end but it had too so I pulled away and I went temporarily deaf but still I saw lazuli was giggling Sylvia looked like she wanted to murder me and leafy just looked confused I could tell I was blushing so I started running down the hall as fast as I could until I reached her room I ran inside and closed the door I stopped running and walked to lazuli's bed and laid her in it " lazuli I'm so sorry I wanted Sylvia to leave me alone and I panicked and then-" lazuli shushed me so I stopped talking lazuli was blushing but she didn't look mad she was giggling and she said "you don't have to be sorry I enjoyed it" I started blushing even harder but I was saved from my embarrassment by leafy but that wouldn't last because she walked in and said "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" lazuli started giggling harder and I just started talking in a really high pitched voice because my normal one wouldn't work so I explained again and when I was done leafy said "I understand but now please explain how lazuli got like this please" I still couldn't talk so when lazuli's giggles subsided she started explaining " ok sis I will explain so I ran out of the house because Sylvia cornered speed and forced hi to kiss her and speed chased me and he saw that I tripped and he rescued me and if he wasnt there I would be dead " leafy looked at me in amazement "really speedy?" magically my voice came back "yeah what else would I do?" leafy hugged me really tightly and said "thank you!" I just sat there slowly suffocating but then she let me go and left I was about to leave when lazuli said "speed wait" so I stopped and turned lazuli said "I didn't say thank you for saving me so thank you speed" and she kissed me on the mouth then let go I was dazed before I walked out lazuli said "wanna have that date tomorrow at 1?" I smiled and said "see you then" I was so happy that everything just flew by and next thing I knew I was already asleep...
WAHOO chapter two is out and it only took me an entire day to write so now I feel like a pathetic excuse of a writer so yeah plz enjoy
