Sana had been impatiently waiting for the board results to be announced.
Her being from a different school and board, her results were to be announced before anyone else's.She paced around in her room thinking of all the worst case scenarios in her head.
'What if I fail?'
'What if I don't score enough for the scholarship?'
'What if...'There were a tons of what ifs in her head that had her disturbed.
Noticing Sana pace around in her room like this Saarim entered the room to calm his daughter down.
He had full trust on his daughter and he knew one thing for sure, that no matter how bad the paper might have gone but his daughter couldn't fail.
And his son, he might be dyslexic but he's the best son anyone could ask for.
"Sana, bache please don't stress yourslef over this. You'll do great my child.", he said
"But abbu, what if I fail? What if Zafar doesn't make it?", Sana said voicing her thoughts.
Saarim sighed.
"Listen to me, trust Allah. He has his own plans and you both will do the best. Don't worry bacha.", he said to his daughter. While the father daughter duo where taking, Zafar was scared.
His disability had scared him to death.
Even though he had ticked himself as dyslexic he was scared that what if he would have forgotten?" Zafar... jaldi upar aa abhi.", Sana screamed from upstairs.
'Ab kya hua?' Zafar thought.
(Now what happened? ')He ran upstairs to his room and saw Sana jumping around the room.
"Kya hua? Kyu pagal panti kar rahi hai??", a very annoyed Zafar asked.
(What happened, why are you behaving like a mad person? ",)"Tuje 89% aaye hai. Aur mere 92%. Partyyyyy", Sana happily shouted.
(You got 89% and I got 92%.)Zafar was shocked.
A 89% in the ICSE boards was the biggest achievement for him.
After the full family was informed, they decided to have an early lunch outside.
Since everyone wanted to have Chinese food they went to a famous restaurant near their place.
"Doctor, how is he doing now? Any improvements? Did you find how it all happened?", Cabir asked the doctor.
"The forensic team has told us that the accident was intentional. Like attempt to murder. And as for his health he is improving. Within most probably three years he will be fit.", the doctor said.
Three years he thought.
He went inside and sat next to the bed on the stool provided.
"Please wake up. I can't live here without you anymore. Please you need to wake up for me. It's been two years.Do you wanna sleep for five years? Is that what you want? You can't leave me. You are the only thing that I have left. Please wake up. Please.", he said.
It had been two years since the accident set his father into a deep sleep.
He lost both his mother, father and the unborn little sister.
A traitor tear left his eyes.Cabir laid his head beside his fathers hand and closed his eyes trying to remember his mother and father.
He felt his father's hand in his hair once again after years.
At first he thought that he was imagining things but then he shot up and went to call the doctor. The doctors did their check ups and said that this movement was a improvement but advised him to not get his hopes up.
After an hour drive he went back home and had his lunch alone.
Cabir was sitting in his room when he suddenly remembered that Alya was supposed to leave at around 4 'o'clock
He went down and saw that they were piling things in their cab.
"Alya", Cabir called out.
When she turned around she waved at Cabir and went to him to say a bye.
"So, leaving without a goodbye are we ?", Cabir teased very well knowing how much Alya hated them.
"UGH. God Cabir you know that I hate them. But anyways, Bye.",she said.
Before she could move Cabit wrapped his arms around Alya pulled her in for a hug.
He wanted to properly see-off his younger sister. On the other hand, Sana saw this exchange between Alya and Cabir and felt something inside her.
Hurt.?Jealous.?
She couldn't put a finger on it but didn't know why she'd feel this way because he was just the hands- ugly guy next door.Releasing a breath she didn't know she was holding, Sana went in and started looking for schools.
