When they arrived at the palace, the king saw that Oyadola has become blind, he knew something was going on, he asked what happened, and one of the chiefs carefully relates all that happened to the king and how Oyadola confessed his sins to Ayodotun.
The king then asked Oyadola if all what his chief said was true, Oyadola then nod his head and said yes. The king also asked where he got the charm from, since he has stopped all herbalist in the village from making any wicked charm. Oyadola explained that it was from Awodiran, a herbalist in the next village that he got the charm from and that the charm doesn't have a solution.
The king then said, the judgement as being made, Ayodotun and Olufimo can go back to there house in peace while Oyadola will be left to find his way home and suffer his blindness for the rest of his life.
Olufimo was very pleased that the evil charm never affected Ayodotun, because Ayodotun as always being a good man and has on several occasions given him and his family food to eat when they didn't have anything to eat.
Oyadola regretted his actions and will have to live the rest of his life as a blind man. He went home crying and weeping.
He said, it is never good to plan evil for a good man, because they are always protected by God.
