Gally realizing that there's something going on between you and Newt.

Gally had always been really protective of you. You'd been in the glade longer than he had so you knew how to handle things around here. Yet he still felt the need to protect you. You both thought of each other as younger siblings. Thus he became really protective, especially around the rest of the Gladers. At first it wasn't too bad, but obviously since you were surrounded by teenage boys, you knew that their hormones would get the best of them at some point. Usually, you'd pay no mind to them, but sometimes; you couldn't help but give them a small bit of your attention.
They were really cute after all.
Especially Newt. And he thought the same of you.
When either of you got the chance, you'd meet up in the Deadheads for a bit of alone time.
Eventually, Gally noticed the two of you disappearing with one another but he didn't think much of it. Well, that was until one day.
Gally and Newt were talking about the new Greenie when you appeared beside them. At first, Gally didn't pay much attention to you and continued chatting. But then he started noticing that Newt wasn't really listening to what was being said. An adoring look was present on his face. Gally then turned to you to see a small smile on your lips and a light blush on your cheeks.
