When sitting in the pub with your friends, you became dazed with the sight of a poster of a wizard with the sign 'Warning', which informed you of the escape of, yet again, Sirius Black. He appeared an intriguing individual, for this was already the second time you'd heard of him. And what was Azkaban? Well, a prison of course - but why was escaping from it so unusual? And was he really so dangerous? You believed you could take him on any day, but you thought that about everyone; you were going out of your way to quite literally find Voldemort.
When on your way to Hogwarts - that was a much different story. As you may know, the protectors of Azkaban arrived. In the middle of nowhere, the train came to a halt, darkness outside, as frost began to eat up the windows, creating an ultimately eerie atmosphere. The sleeping individual in your compartment appeared to sleep through most of it, until a demon-like creature flew in to your compartment and, looking around, decidedly began to suck out the soul of your brother Harry. It only became clear after the sleeping individual saved Harry with the "Expecto Patronum!" and then proceeded to inform you of dementors being on the look out for the escapee, Sirius Black, known as one of the most dangerous wizards of all time. It all became clear to you when, as he introduced himself, Professor Lupin explained that Azkaban is the most protected prison of the wizarding world and no one, up until now, has ever escaped. An odd ride it was, indeed.
"Why did it suck out Harry's soul?" You asked.
"They feed off negativity, basically," Professor Lupin said with a jovial smile, handing Harry a chocolate bar. "Here, eat it, you'll feel better."
It was only after some time that the atmosphere relaxed and the five of you engaged in a much more relaxed conversation.
"[F/n], you've had a glow-up." Hermione smiled.
"A glow-up?"
"I noticed that too," Ron added, "you look more mature."
"And your hair got longer."
"You look more like a woman now."
"And you have more distinct features."
"Okay, that's enough," you stopped them. "As much as I appreciate it, I feel uncomfortable."
"So, [F/n] and Harry Potter, huh?" Professor Lupin said, smiling, and looking at the two of you in a similar way Snape did: as though he were looking at someone the two of you represented, only there was more joy in his look than in Snape's.
"[F/n] is the cooler one." You added.
"She wishes," Harry scoffed.
"She doesn't have to wish."
"Does."
"Doesn't."
"Does."
"Doesn't."
"Are they always like this?" Professor Lupin asked your friends, and they nodded.
When it was time to get off, Professor Lupin bid you a farewell. You, Harry, Hermione and Ron all proceeded to get out of the train, when you realised you'd left your wand on the train after you got it out due to the sudden appearance of the demon looking creature - a dementor. You had placed it on the side of your seat, and it completely flew out of your head when leaving.
"Guys, I forgot my wand. Be back in a second."
"Do you want us to wait for you?" Hermione asked.
"No, it's fine. I'll meet you back up." And so, you turned around back to the train. Boarding an empty train, you made your way through the empty halls, gazing into the empty compartments, trying to find the one you were in. When located, you went in and were extremely relieved to see your wand still in place where it was left, thus you picked it up and proceeded to make your way out. Looking down on where you were walking, you suddenly experienced the typical book occurrence as you walked into someone, just as you were about to take the exit.
"Watch where you're going." The voice warned you. Oh, yes, you recognised this voice well, only this year, it was much deeper. Looking up, you found none other than Draco Malfoy, but flabbergasted you were the second you noticed the difference in appearance. The slicked hair was no longer, and he too had what Hermione would've regarded as a 'glow up', with his hair flowing down messily on his forehead in the style of curtains, and, as painful as it was to admit - an immaculate bone structure with a jawline that was enough for any soon-to-be-fourteen-year-old-girl to spiral. "Potter?" He asked, gazing at you in a manner that mimicked your own: almost as though you were looking in the mirror. Your level of surprise at his appearance was imitated in his level of surprise at your change in appearance too.
"No." You said quickly. "I don't know you." With this, you turned away and into the exit, leaving the train. Satisfied with your unavailable answer, which was not very unusual for you, you continued to walk with a smirk of power. Malfoy stayed behind for a couple of seconds, attempting to process what he had just seen, until he finally jogged up to you and walked beside you.
"Staying as a seeker this year?" He said in a provocative and threatening tone. You were not fooled. You knew that you were hot. You knew your power.
"Yes. You will not be seeker anytime soon."
"I'll break your arm again."
"I'll have it healed, and I'll have you expelled."
"Not if you can't prove that I did it."
You turned to the side to look at him, and he thus did the same, turning to the side to look at you.
"Nope. You wouldn't go to such lengths."
"Do you want to bet?" He scoffed.
"Yes, I do, Malfoy. Because you won't do shit. Have you met yourself? You're the biggest pussy I have ever met. Think back to last year and your crying in the tunnel because of a snake. I single handedly ran from it, blinded it, and then killed it. You stand no chance against me."
"Single handedly? It if weren't for me, you would be dead."
"If it weren't for me, you would be dead."
"If it weren't for you, I would have never gotten in there in the first place."
"So you went in there to protect me?"
"What? I didn't say that. I'd rather kill myself."
"You did try and save me though with the sword."
"I was saving myself."
"Could've stabbed the snake yourself," you scoffed.
"You were in the way."
"No, you're just a pussy."
