Addison's POV
"MOMMA! MOMMA!" Lucas came into my room screaming. At first I thought something was wrong but he was just over excited. "Hi, Baby." I rubbed my eyes and pulled him into a hug."Momma, it's FRIDAY!" He screamed again. "Yes, it is! But you have to wait until after school for baseball, okay?" I asked him. "Yes, Momma..." He frowned.
"Come on let's go get ready for school." I laughed at his excitement. I pulled out his overalls and shirt that had a baseball on it because he begged me to let him wear that one.
He was so excited to got to the park with Bryce today.
Bryce's POV
"Hey Ma, I was just wondering if you still had all my old little league equipment, by chance?" I asked my mother over the phone."Hi Bryce, I do actually. It's all in a box in the basement. Why do you need it?" She asked me. "Well there's this girl." I started.
"Girl?!" She asked. "Mom I'm 23 not 15. Yes, a girl. Her little brother really likes watching baseball and wanted to learn how to play." I explained to her not exactly giving the whole truth but not lying.
"Aww Bryce that's so cute. What's her name?" She asked. "Addison and her brother is Lucas." I told her.
"I'll be home all day today so just come by and pick it up if you need it." She told me. "Okay, I'll be there soon. Love you, Ma."
I hung up the phone and made my way to the store to pick up a little baseball uniform for Lucas and a matching one for me. I figured he would like it.
Blue baseball shirts with black pants, blue socks, and a blue belt. Lucas told me that blue was his favorite color so I thought it would be the best to choose.
Once I got everything I drove over to my moms house and she lives in a gated community.
"Who are you here for?" The security guard asked. "Lisa Hall, I'm her son, Bryce." You'd think the security guard would remember me. Pshh. Fake ass friends.
"Hi Ma!" I said as I walked into her house. I have a key to my mothers house that is perfectly normal.
"Bryce! It's nice to see you, son!" She greeted me with a hug. "Now tell me about this girl!" She yelled excitedly.
We both sat down at the island. "She's amazing. Beautiful girl, most kind, loving person you will ever meet in your life. All I have to do now is ask her to be my girlfriend." I told her.
"She sounds amazing, honey. Do you want to eat breakfast and then I'll help you get the boxes out of the basement?" She asked me. "Yeah that's sounds nice, what are we making?" I asked getting up to help her in the kitchen.
We made some pancakes and eggs and then she helped me look through the boxes to make sure that everything was there.
"Where's my mitt?" I asked. "What?" She asked looking at old baseball pictures of me. "My mitt. It's not here. Where is it?" I asked again.
She looked in other boxes but we couldn't find it. "I can't teach Lucas to play baseball without a glove!" I said getting upset really quickly. I wanted today to be perfect for Lucas.
"Found it!" My mom said across the other side of the basement. "It was in with the stuff from your old room. You didn't keep it with your baseball stuff because it was grandpa's." She reminded me. "Oh yeahhhhh, Now I remember." I said.
My mom helped me bring everything to the car. "Thanks, Ma." I said to her. "Anytime, Bryce. You go make that girls day. Girls love seeing boys play with kids." She told me and winked. I laughed it off, gave her a hug and a kiss and drove over to Addison's.
It was early so Lucas was still in school. I knocked on the door and Addison opened it.
"Hi, Gorgeous..." I gave her a kiss. "Hi..." She whispered with a cute little smile on her face. "I'm just cleaning up a little bit while Luca's at school." She said pulling me inside and walking back in to where she was tidying up the couch.
"I was working for a few hours and then decided to come home. It's a slow day." I helped her clean up and then we sat down in the living room.
"Oh! I wanna show you what I got him!" I jumped up from the couch. "Bryce, you didn't have to get him anything. In fact, you shouldn't have. I don't want you to spend money on him." Addison told me.
"I just wanted to get him a baseball uniform. Let me go down to the car and get it! I'll be right back!" I said excitedly.
Addison's POV
I found it really cute that Bryce was so excited for today. I can't wait until we finally become official. I know it hasn't been that long but I can definitely see myself spending the rest of my life with this man."Look" Bryce said walking back in the door. He laid out a blue baseball jersey, black pants, blue socks, and a blue belt.
"And that's not even the best part." He pulled out a matching uniform for himself with this big happy smile on his face.
"Aww Baby. You guys are gonna match?" I said in awe. He nodded his head with his big goofy grin. I smiled back at him and pulled him into a kiss. "You are the cutest." I said to him.
"We have quite some time before I have to go pick up Lucas, you know. And I've finished cleaning so my schedule is clear. So since you got here a little early." I paused and went to whisper in his ear. "Maybe we can have some fun..." I whispered seductively.
He immediately picked me up wrapping my arms around his waist and carried me to my bedroom while kissing me.
I'm pretty sure y'all know where it went from there...
