A/N: Just a short double update because I missed my dead line. Sorry!
Bakugou's P.O.V
Something was off about that fight Luna had with Todoroki. I had never seen her so... not her. Sure she had been angry before, but she looked mad. Like angry and crazy. After she was announced the victor I quickly went to find her. I turned a corner, only to find Endeavor, the number two hero walking out of a room. Curiosity got to me so I entered. Arriving at the door I heard someone crying quietly.
I opened the door and saw Luna crumpled on the floor and tucked in a corner, tears running down her face. When I got closer I realised that she was crying some sort of black substance.
"Luna?"
She looked up, quickly wiping her tears away. "Oh, hey, Katsuki."
"You're crying." Of course I had just stated the obvious like an idiot. "And I highly doubt it's out of happiness that you got first place in the festival."
She smiled sadly. "No." She whispered.
"Mind telling me what it is?"
"That stupid pyro." She started crying again. I sat down next to her.
"You can tell me when you're ready."
"Thank you Katsuki." We stayed silent for some while. Luna took a deep breath before explaining.
"Endeavor wants me to have offspring with Shoto."
"What?!"
"And in return, he'll help me find my family."
"Your family?"
"I never told you." She chuckled. "I can't remember anything before getting into UA. The first fifteen years of my life are non-existent." My eyes widened. "But, I've been having dreams. Only their more than just dreams, more like nightmares really but that's not the point. I think they're memories."
"So you have amnesia?"
"Not exactly. I have an uncle who lives in Europe. Is that true or false?"
"False."
She shook her head. "True. He helps me pay for my rent when I can't make it by myself. But, I don't remember him. I can't." She ran her hands through her hair in frustration. "It's so frustrating! Everything I think is real turns out to be false. I don't even know if I'm real!"
I didn't really know what to do. I've never been good with emotions, so I did something I had never really done before. I tried to comfort her. I took her hand and put it on my chest.
"Feel that? That's my heart beating. That's what tells me I'm alive, and I'm real." I took her other hand and placed it on her chest. "Feel that? That's your heart beating. You're alive, you're real." I wiped another tear away from her cheek. "We are real." That must've been the wrong thing to say because she broke down crying again. "Oi dumbass! Why are you crying? Stop that!"
She gave me a hug, burying her face in my chest. Her cries died down, her tears stopped racing down her face. Her body relaxed and molded perfectly against mine. Everything was calm until Midnight announced the end of the festival. "We need to go." I said. Luna pouted.
"Fine. But I won't ever forget what you did for me. Thank you."
Heat rose to my face and I quickly looked away. "Tch, whatever dumbass. Just don't expect me to do it again."
She laughed. But it wasn't an evil one, it was full of light, warmth and innocence. I turned even redder, I quickly looked away.
Damn, I think I like her.
So does everyone else in our class, I answered myself.
"Gah. Let's go."
"Yeah."
