THINGS HAVE been very strange since the many kids began going missing. Everyone was either on edge or ignorant to the whole situation.

M/n didn't necessarily care, since all that scared him the most was his dad. (Though he wishes that whatever sicko was responsible for the kids going missing would just stop with his weirdass fetish)

He couldn't remember when the abuse began, but he was probably in elementary.

He didn't even know the real reason why, and never actually bothered to ask, because he was afraid of what his father would do to him.

All m/n wanted to do was to hang out with his friends in their treehouse, talk about literally anything (mostly girls).

He was the mom of the group, and chose to put everyone's needs before himself's.

But whenever questions got too personal he'd always respond with 'Nah, I don't want to bother you with my problems'.

And then they wouldn't push it.

It did hurt M/n that they didn't bother to ask anymore questions, but that was on him for pushing them away.

After that he'd suggest a round of Manhunt late at night, where everyone would agree to play.

So that brought them to where they were now. Playing manhunt in their neighborhood with flashlights.

He was found pretty easily due to the lack of good hiding spots, but it didn't matter. M/n, Eats, and Woody stealthily sneaked up behind Davey as he looked into the window of Mackey's house.

"Gotcha dude!" Woody shouted as Eats rustled the bushes by Davey.

Davey spun around, almost cracking his back as he gasped. "Jesus christ guys.."

"Isn't that Farraday's spot man? You're better than that." Eats pointed out as he glanced at the spot where Davey once sat in.

Eats and Woody continued to make jokes about finding Farraday as they sniffed the air, as if it would give them clues as to where he was.

Davey sighed as he watched his two friends walk past him. Davey leaned back into the bushes as he looked back into the window of Mackey's house.

"Isn't that kind of weird man?" M/n leaned onto his shoulder instead of finding a spot for him to stand next to him.

"W-what?" Davey looked at him by slightly turning his head. "Nothing, let's go." M/n grabbed his hand. Davey interlocked their fingers so his hand wouldn't be squished inside of his palm.
