chapter 2

"hey" i hear a whisper and a soft knock on the door before throwing my sheets over my face "sorry Nicole's not here right now" I laugh "please take a message after the beep... *beep*"

"come on now" I hear the voice say. I can tell it's Drew just by the way he talks even though it's been about 15 hours since we met. I feel him walk into the room and the bed dips. I turn to face him and am greeted with a smile "morning sunshine"

"morning" I groan with a pout "why are call times so early? it's like still dark out" i swing my legs over the side of the bed and climb out.

I'm wearing a jumbo sized navy red sox jersey t shirt that stops at my mid thigh with sport shorts on underneath

"come on, I made coffee" drew says messing my hair up more than it already was from the bedhead

I walk into the kitchen to see Austin checking his phone at the table

"morning" he says looking up and putting his phone down on the table "how'd you sleep?" he asks me and I dramatically turn towards drew who is getting the coffee ready. "good until someone woke me up"

Drew laughs and shakes his head "dude it's not my fault that I'm trying to help you not get fired on your first day. be appreciative" he claps between the syllables

Austin interrupts "I made some chocolate chip pancakes if you want them but we gotta get going if we're gonna make it on time" he says continuing to shove pancake down his throat

Drew and I take a seat at the kitchen table with Austin to eat

"aw, we're like a little family" Austin says laughing almost making Drew shoot coffee out his nose

"yeah we are" I say holding my laughter in "you guys are the gay dads and I'm your kid"

The two men look at me and then back at each other

"I would've left you for Rudy by now" Drew says breaking the silence which causes me to laugh hysterically. Austin adds in "oh yeah? well I would've cheated on you with JD by now too"

"boys, boys, boys" I say "inhale, exhale. twas a joke."

"go get dressed. unless you plan on wearing that to work" Austin says before picking his phone up again. I stand still "Actually, I did plan on wearing this" I smile, trying to make a point

"burn" drew laughs before high fiving me

I stand up to put my stuff in the sink before running off to my room "I just gotta brush my teeth, brush my hair, and find my shoes and im ready" I call from my bedroom

"don't worry, I won't leave you here" Drew calls to me

I freshen up and then slip on my sneakers, pulling my hair back into a ponytail

"alright" I say, winded "I'm ready"

"settle down dude, you're gonna pass out" drew laughs at me and I just keep on going "I'm good I'm good" I start to jog in place "I'm ready to kick some ass today woooo!" "well aren't you just a ball of energy" he laughs "yes I AM!"

We get to the set and we all just walk together, faces down in our phones, going to our separate trailers

I walk up the steps and open the door of my trailer with my phone still in my face, and out of nowhere, Maddie jumps out.

"what the FUCK" I scream at the girl slapping her with my hands on her arm until she falls onto the leather sofa

I take a seat next to the blonde on the couch
