~Levy~

"Levy! Breakfast is ready!" I groaned quietly as my mother called. I hadn't gotten much sleep, I had been too anxious. After all, today was my wedding day. I looked down at the diamond on my finger and smiled softly, gently touching it. It had been six years since Gajeel had proposed, we had graduated college, I just completed my first year of teaching and Gajeel had opened the gym he always wanted. It had been crazy but it was wonderful all the same. We had got our own house, a little one near my school, I had finally gotten a new car and we had even been to Natsu and Lucys wedding.

"Levy get up or you'll be late!" I giggled softly as I rolled out of my old bed. I stayed the night with mom, as it was bad luck to see the bride before hand. I hurried down stairs where mom was waiting, breakfast laid out. We ate quietly, though with as nervous as I was I was surprised I could eat at all. "Are you ready?" Mom asked with a soft smile. I smiled shyly as i pulled on a piece of my hair, I had let it grow out some. "Yes? No? I'm a bit nervous, but," i smiled softly. "I get to spend the rest of my life with Gajeel." Mom suddenly laughed and I frowned. "Honey, I don't think anything would keep you two from spending your lives together. Marriage or not." I grinned and joined in her laughter.

"Now finish up and we can get to the church." I nodded and quickly finished eating. Gajeel and I had decided to get married in the church garden. Being early summer all of the flowers should be in bloom, the garden also over looked the sea in the distance. As we got into mom's car i couldn't help but smile. I'm marrying my best friend today.

~Gajeel~

I'm marrying my best friend today. That thought kept playing over and over in my head as I mechanically made my way through the morning. By the time I got to the church, I was sure I shorted out a fuse in my brain. "You alright man?" I looked up at Natsu as he came in to my dressing room. I had barely got my suit on and I just couldn't figure out the tie for the life of me. "Honestly? I feel like I'm gonna be sick." I muttered as he stood beside me.

He was my best man and he was already suited and ready to go. Gray and Bixlow were my groomsmen and they were out helping finishing the last touches. Natsu grinned as he pat my shoulder. "Just nerves. Just don't actually throw up like I did." I snorted. "Mom would kill me if I messed up the suit." I grumbled, giving up with my tie. "Damn right I would!" I jumped as the tiny woman made her way into the room. She wore a deep orange dress with silver lining, our choice of colors, and strappy heels that I wasn't sure how she could walk in.

I stood up straight as she grabbed my tie, knotting it in three seconds flat. "There." She said softly, brushing off imaginary dust from the jacket. "You look very handsome Gajeel." I felt my face heat up but I ignored it. "Thanks mom." I smiled at her. She looked up at me with teary eyes but her smile was bright. "You'll take care of my girl right?" I grinned and pulled her into a hug. "Always." She hugged me back before pulling away and wiping her eyes. "Alright, you head on out. I will got get the girl and we will start!" She said cheerily before leaving.

I took a deep breath before making my way out after her. The bridal party was waiting, Lucy with Natsu, Bixlow with Lisanna and Gray with Juvia. They waved at me as I headed out into the garden and made my way down the aisle. I tried not to look at the guests there, afraid that I might actually get sick from nerves. It wasn't a necessarily large wedding, just close friends, some employees from my gym that were close and some of Levys teacher friends as well as family. I stood beside the preacher and tried not to pull on my tux, I felt unbearably uncomfortable but I restrained myself. I was finally starting to calm down when the wedding march began and I was all nerves again.

Natsu and Lucy lead the procession, followed by Bixlow and Lisanna. Gray and Juvia brought up the rear, the French woman was dropping flower petals as she went. When the back doors of the church opened I couldn't help but gaped, my heart nearly beating out of my chest.

There she was, my best friend, my wife to be, my Levy. Her hair was pulled into an artfully messy bun, with pieces hanging down to frame her face. Her pristine white gown was sleeveless with a heart shaped neckline. It formed to her torso before gently flowing out at her tiny waist in soft layers. The train stretched out a short ways behind her, and I could just make out white heels as she walked. She clutched a bouquet of orange mums in her hand, the other gripping mom's arm as they made their way. They stopped in front of us, mom kissing Levys forehead through her veil before taking my hand. Mom planted a quick kiss to my check before putting mine and Levys hands together and taking her seat.

I didn't listen to a word the preacher said as I stared at Levy, it was hard not to. She's so damn beautiful. "The bride and groom have written their own vows which they will now exchange." I was brought back by the voice of the preacher. I smiled down at Levy as I took a deep breath. "Levy, we did not meet under the best circumstances. But that day I woke up in the hospital and saw that tiny head of blue hair, I knew I couldn't go on without you. I am grateful that I got to grow up with you, more than joyful that you became my best friend. My star in the night and my sun that lights my world. We didn't need these silly clocks, we found a way on our own. I love you Levy, and I will until the end of our days."

Levy smiled up at me, tears in her eyes as she took her own breath. "Gajeel, our meeting wasn't great. No one wants to meet in a hospital, but I wouldn't change a thing. You grew up by my side, became my brother, my best friend and my rock. You were always there for me with your hand clutched around mine. You came like a storm into my life and blew away clouds I didn't know where there. From the day I saw that little boy wrapped in bandages I knew I had to have you in my life. I love you Gajeel, and I will until the end of our days."

By now I could hear mom crying in the crowd and I could feel tears prick my own eyes. "Do you have the rings?" I turned to Natsu and retrieve Levys wedding band as she turned to Lucy. I slid the silver band so that it rested against her engagement ring before she slid a thick silver band onto my finger. I barely heard myself say I do over my pounding heart, though Levys rang in my head like a bell. "I do." Her voice was strong despite the tears brimming her eyes.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." I wasted no time in lifting Levys veil and gently cupping her face. I wiped away the over flowing tears before bring my lips to hers, ignoring the cheers and the whistles all around. When we finally pulled apart we were grinning like fools. I stood up straight and offered her my arm, which she hooked with her own. "Are you ready Mrs.Redfox?" Levy grinned up at me. "If your there, I'm ready for anything."
