Year Three, Sept. 1993:

'How's the holidays been Ceils?' Nick asked as we boarded the train. I sighed as we entered the compartment and sat down together.

'They sucked to say the least. I've been having these weird dreams all of the time and this non-stop migraine.' He frowned at me and grabbed a chocolate frog from his pocket, handing it over.

'Can't you take anything for it?' He asked, concerned.

'I'm fine... I spent most of the holidays practicing Quidditch with Cedric though, he reckons I can make the team this year!' I changed the subject, smiling with the idea of playing on the team.

'Well he is the captain.' Nick teased through a mouthful of chocolate.

'Whatever.' I snapped, chucking my box at him. 'How were your holidays?' I asked, changing the subject again.

'Rubbish... I had to spend them catching up with school work since I spent half of last year petrified.' I widened my eyes with the memories of the events of last year.

'That sucks...' I stopped mid sentence as the train came to a sudden halt. The carriage became cold as the glass started to freeze on the inside.

'What the...' Nick stated, watching the breath come out of his mouth, as though we were outside.

I closed my eyes, a migraine coming on full force... it felt as though my head was on fire and I couldn't hear anything except a ringing in my ears. As I squeezed my eyes shut from the pain, a cloaked creature entered my vision, I gasped, wondering how I could imagine such a terrifying image. The sound in my ears suddenly turned into a scream as I pressed my forehead harder, trying to force the pain away.

'Celia!' I startled back into reality, opening my eyes to see a panicked Nick in front of me.

'Sorry...' I muttered quietly, realising we were back on the move again and the windows weren't frozen anymore.

'Is that the migraine you've been having?' He asks. I was too tired and in pain to answer, so nodded, closing my eyes and allowing myself to nap for the rest of the ride.

When we made our way into the common room later in on the evening, everyone was talking about what had happened on the way. I quickly headed up to bed, as the migraine had never gone away, it had just turned into a deep throbbing, forcing me to frown to try and keep it at bay.

As I tried to go to sleep that night I tossed and turned with the images of dark creatures floating in the air. My dreams were filled with the screaming from earlier on in the day and terrifying images filled my mind, it felt like the breath was being taken out of me.

I woke up in agony, my head felt like it could explode and I didn't know what to do...

I got up slowly and felt my way around the room, being careful to not wake anyone else up. As I walked over to the boy's dormitory and into Cedric's room, I wished that Dad had listened to me and taken me to see someone. I had to squint hard to make sure it was the right person before I patted Cedric's shoulder and whispered his name.

'Celia? What are you doing?' Cedric whispered to me, sitting up in bed.

'I can't sleep.' I whispered back, holding onto my head, as the pain grew worse.

'Do you have another migraine?' He asked, standing up and moving us out of the room.

'It's really bad Ced.' I mentioned, letting him hug me.
