seven: dance

"May I have this dance m'lady?" Nick asks you.

You curtesy as you say, "Yes my dear sir." You blush.

You two have your hands locked, dancing like you are at a ball. The crickets are chirping and a soft wind is blowing. You feel at home, but are also wondering why he is dancing with you like this.

He has his hand resting on your hips and you have your hands on his shoulder. You lay your head on his chest, feeling it rise and fall as he takes a breath. You also faintly hear his heartbeat, and it is a magical sound. "Y/n.." Nick breaks the silence.

"Yes Nick?" You respond.

"I- I- uh, I like-"

He's interrupted by you grabbing his face and pulling it into yours for a kiss. You knew what he was going to say. You pull away from the kiss and look into his eyes, smiling. You blush like crazy as you say, "I like you too." You rest your head on Nicks chest again and you two slow dance for what feels like an eternity.

~time skip~

You and Nick were just hanging out, cuddling together. It's crazy all of this has happened in almost two weeks. You met him a little over a week ago, then now you are cuddled up with him, having had your first kiss a few hours ago. Life is good.

You told nick you needed to use the bathroom and you did your business and went downstairs. "Hey Nick, I gotta get home. I'm so sorry." You say, almost crying because you don't want to leave him.

"Hey, it's okay. Don't cry." He chuckles at you. You feel tears streaming down your face, and you hug him. You feel at home again. He pulls you out of the hug, having your face in his hands. He wipes your tears with his thumbs and gives you a kiss. You guys hug some more and then, time goes in a blur and then you are home.

"I love him so much." You think to yourself.
