Emma's pov ~

"Oh nothing's funny" Meg says to the boy with the brightly coloured hair.
He quickly looks at the both of us before darting his eyes back to the ice cream. One seems to have caught his eyes cause he's making his way toward the fridge door.
"Sorry but could I just squeeze in there. I just want some mint.." he manoeuvres around me. I stare at him with a not so impressed look on my face.
"While you're there would you mind getting me some?" I ask, ducking my head around to his as he's crouching down.
"I'm on it" he says without looking up. "One choc-mint for you lovely ladies. Anything else I can help you with?" he jokes, handing me the ice cream whilst acting like a woolies employee.
"I'm Michael by the way" there's a long pause as he waits for us to reply. I kind of already knew who he was but this just confirmed it.
"I'm Meg and this is Emma" Meg says pointing to herself then me.
"Nice to meet you Meg and Emma. And these lads here are Ashton, Calum and L-.. Wait where did Luke go?" He asks looking confused and slightly annoyed.
"He's gone to get smarties, you know how he loves his smarties" Calum says raising his eyebrows as he smirks. I might have died when he did that but I sure as hell wasn't gonna show it.
"We don't want an angry Luke roaming the shops" Ashton widens his eyes and laughs.
"What did you get bro?" Calum walks over to us to see what Michael has picked.
"Hey Emma" Meg talks to me as the boys are discussing "I almost forgot we ran out of top deck".
"Do you wanna go get some whilst I pick out another tub?" I say quite loudly as I had to speak over the boys and the employee talking over the loudspeaker.
"Yeah no worries. I'll meet you at one of the checkouts then?"
"Yeah but be quick though, I have no idea when the store closes" I say as I go back to scanning the ice creams. All of a sudden I feel someone right next to me and turn my head to see Calum.
"Going back for another one aye?" Calum asks teasingly.
"Are you saying I'm getting too much ice cream?" I tease back.
"No of course not. You can never get too much ice cream" he laughs looking down at the tub Michael got out for me. "So if I were you I'd go for chocolate. I think chocolate and choc-mint go quite well" he puts on a fake French accent to sound like a fancy chef.
"Well maybe I want rainbow ice cream with my choc-mint" I say in spite of him. Calum then opens the door and pulls out the chocolate ice cream.
"Here take it I don't want anyone ever tasting your combination" he chuckles to himself as I give him a dirty look.
Ashton and Michael are walking back over to us now and they are holding a bag of frozen chips.
"Frozen chips and ice cream, now that's a great combination" I roll my eyes and head for the checkout.

Meg's pov ~

"Oh god where's the lolly aisle?" I whisper to myself whilst my eyes frantically dart from one sign to the next. I mean it's like my favourite aisle how could I not know where it is. I look to the second last sign.
"Ahh finally" I begin to rush around the corner into the aisle but run into something tall and broad shouldered.
"Wow" I say in shock as I drop my purse on the ground. I feel two hands on my shoulders steadying me.
"You're in a hurry haha" it's Luke and he's smiling down at me. "You all good?"
"Uhm sorry" I say flustered and give him a smile. "Yeah I think I'm alright. Are you okay? I just ran right into you. Oh god" I blurt out as I look down at the ground. Of course I had my purse open so now all of my coins are scattered across the ground. Luke follows my gaze.
"Let me give you a hand" he says as we both kneel down and start picking up all the coins.
"I like your shirt by the way" Luke smiles at me looking me up and down. I look down at my Ramones shirt. I suddenly feel a wave of horror as I realise what I'm wearing. I didn't expect to run into cute band members on our woolies run.
"Oh this thing, I'm basically wearing my pyjamas right now" I laugh awkwardly and take a quick glimpse of Luke. I notice he has a lip ring and then see him bite his lip and look up at me.
"Well you look cute in pyjamas" his lip bite turns into a big grin and I feel my heart beat faster from witnessing that. All of a sudden he stands up and holds out his hand. I take his hand and he pulls me up so easily. He then holds out his hand that's filled with coins and it takes me a few seconds to realise what he's doing. I hold my purse out and we both put the coins in. Our hands keep awkwardly touching as we stuff them in.
"Thank you so much you didn't have to help me" I say really quickly. I guess I'm nervous.
"Well I kind of made you drop them and I'm not in a rush anyway" he says politely. Suddenly I see the lights go out starting at the right end of the store and I hear the thud as the power goes off. Then the lights turn off one after the other, making their way to the frozen section where we all were before. BANG! I scream as the last of the power goes out. I jump from the scare and realise I'm now hugging Luke from 5 seconds of summer... And he's hugging me back.
