It's been a week ever since Sev and I are together. Everything is going okay, and still pretty normal. Wala namang nag-bago sa 'min dalawa. We're still like old times.
Today is our last day of school before Christmas break. I just finished taking the periodical exam. I'm now waiting for our proctor to dismiss us, before we all go out.
"Pass all papers!" Our proctor shouted.
When someone tapped my back, I reached my hand out to grab their test papers and put mine in before passing it to the person in front of me. When we all got dismissed, we all got out. And as usual, magkasama nanaman si Ari at Lev kaya pumunta na ako agad sa parking area, para hintayin si Sev.
Me:
Babe. Are you picking me up?
Babe:
Yes, baby. I will. Wait for me.
I smiled, and sat down the bench under the tree and played my phone while waiting for Sev. Minutes later, I felt someone hug me from behind. I already knew who he was, from his scent.
"Sev!" I called.
"Hello babe," he chuckled and kissed the side of my head.
He sat down beside me, and I gave him a hug. He kissed my cheek multiple times, until he got tired. I smiled, at him and pinched his nose.
"Let's go?" I asked.
"Of course," he said.
He stood up, and held my hand so I stood up as well. We walked to his car, with our hands intertwined. He opened the door again for me, and I sat down.
He walked around to get inside the driver's seat, and sat down. He opened the engine and started driving away from my school. Naka polo lang siya, at halatang kaka-galing lang rin niya sa school.
"When's your Christmas break?" I asked.
"Last day na namin ngayon," he answered.
"Same. Finally, we get to take a break from school," I said massaging the side of my head.
I heard him chuckle, so I looked at him with my brows furrowed. Anong tinatawa tawa niya diyan?
"What are you laughing at?" I asked.
"You," he answered while stifling a laugh.
"Why are you laughing at me?"
"Mukha kang stressed na stressed sa buhay," umiling siya nangingiti pa.
"Sobrang stress naman kasi talaga! Besides, my brain is flushed," I said looking outside the window.
