"Hurry up! Akala ko ba gusto mo na umuwi?"
Ari is already shouting at me, because today is our flight on the way home. Last night was Sev's flight back home from New York. We both miss each other, and we're both very excited.
"Wait!" I shouted.
I'm still fixing my stuff, because I didn't get to do it last night because I fell asleep.
New Year was very basic. We just spent it in a cruise, where mom, dad and my tito and tita's spent time together. Bata pa kami noon, simula nung pumunta sila dito.
Nag video call rin kami ni Sev, the day after New Year. Lev even spent New Year with us, which made me jealous. Well, not gonna lie, I've spent many New Years and Christmas with Sev but this year was supposed to be more special since we're together as a couple.
Not as bestfriends anymore.
But maybe, we could celebrate it next year. Time flies fast, so I'm pretty sure it will be done in no time. But now, I'm just gonna focus on fixing my stuff so I could see my boyfriend later and I am very excited.
While fixing my essentials, my phone pinged so I opened it and saw Sev's name. I smiled, as I opened his text.
Caden:
Good morning, baby. Eat your breakfast, okay? I'm very excited to see you again. I love you.
I bit my lower lip to stifle a smile and typed in my reply.
Me:
You too, Caden. I miss you! Where are you now?
Caden:
Just got out the airport. Text me asap, if you're already home okay? Pupuntahan kita.
Me:
What? Why? You're not gonna rest?
Caden:
I'm resting when I'm with you, Abbie.
I smiled, and put my phone away to continue fixing. Nilagay ko na ang mga essentials ko sa maleta, at saka ko na inayusan ang sarili ko. Hindi ko na napigilang ngumiti, nang maalala ko na magkikita nanaman kami ni Sev.
"Todo ngiti ka ah, magkikita kayo ng boyfriend mo 'no?" Tanong ni Aria.
"Of course," I giggled.
"Alam mo Debs, I'm happy for you." She said.
I looked at her and saw her smiling, she walked closer to me and held my hands. I looked at her with my lips parted, hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko.
"W-what? What do you mean?"
"I'm happy that you're happy," she smiled.
