My World is Falling Apart

4.~{-*Training with the best, While being the worst*-}~

Finally, the day was finally over. (y/n)'s stomach was full of butterflies. She was so excited to try out her new quirk, she what kind of things she could make, and how she would use them, nervous that she was going to make a complete mess of herself, or worst of all, hurt someone. Though, she remembered that Midoriya had insisted they trained afterschool, and he had already booked the training area out for them, she couldn't back out now. She headed to the change rooms, where she placed a black singlet that she found in her room on, along with long, dark blue track suit bants with 2 white lines that travelled down the leg and a short sleave jacket. The jacket was also dark blue, but it had detailing of a u at the top, and a capital a at the bottom, which connected to the pants. It was a very clever design, she thought. Finally, she placed basic black sneakers on before heading out to the main area, to see Midoriya.

If her nerves weren't acting up before, they definitely were now.

"you ready, (y/n)?" Midoriya yelled. With a nervous nod, she got in her fighting stance.

The first thing that came to her mind was a long pole, and she concentrated the image to her hand. This came out with a pink glow, telling her she was using her thermal energy stash. Midoriya bounced off the walls before coming at her. He was going easy, of course, but was shocked when she was able to deflect his kick with the pole. What neither of them expected to happen though, was for the pole to explode and send an energy burst through each of them, making them fly the opposite direction from each other.

"Holy Shit" (y/n) spoke.

"I can do that?" she looked at Midoriya. He looked just as confused.

"You have never done that in training before, maybe you trained out of it?" He suggested. They both brushed off, and attempted it again, this time, however, (y/n) tried to conjure up the pole using solar energy. She imagined the pole in her hand, but this time with the yellow glow. She also directed her thoughts to the sun and sunshine, hoping it worked.

Thankfully, it did. The pole appeared from her hands, and it held a yellowy glow this time. She attempted to twirl it in her hands, in which it worked. Her body must have muscle memory with training with her quirk before, and this made her smile.

This smile didn't last long before the impact of Midoriya's shoe made it explode again.

"Sorry!" (y/n) and they both landed on the floor.

"It's alright, it is practice after all. Though, I feel like this may be a bit dangerous. I have the perfect person to help with this!" Midoriya said before zooming out the gym with his quirk. However, outside the gym, the yelling of Midoriya's name and the following of him getting in trouble for using his quirk outside was heard. This made (y/n) chuckle. Still an excitable bean. Thinking back on the training, (y/n) began to question why every time she made impact with something it broke. This made (y/n) conjure up a small bouncy ball. Close to the ground, she dropped it. She kept her concentration on the shiny yellow ball. The ball bounced without breaking. She then did it again, but to test her theory, she looked away, and concentrated on a tile instead. This made the ball break.

It must have been when the impact hit, she lost concentration on maintaining the energy of that item, causing it to explode. She needed to learn how to concentrate on two things at a time, so the item wouldn't break.

After all of (y/n)'s thinking, the green headed boy walked back in. But he wasn't alone. He brought Kirishima, the boy with the hardening quirk. What a genius. This meant that if her item exploded, Kirishima wouldn't be as affected by the blast.

"Um, I hope you don't mind being involve being in this, I don't wanna bother you if you have stuff on."

"Nah, it's all cool! I wouldn't be here I didn't want to help, and Midoriya asked me to help, plus I want to get to know you better" He smiled.
