Chapter 6 - Monday

Your POV

I'm thinking about what happened on Friday with Kyoya, when I run into Hikaru and Kaoru. Crap.

"Hello (y/n), how was your date with Kyoya on Thursday?" they ask in sync.

"Good, but but Friday's was better." I respond.

"What happened Friday?" Hikaru asks.

"My only response to that is Haninozuka." They don't understand. Kaoru notices my necklace and somehow takes it off of my neck.

"What's this, (y/n)?" he asks.

"How did you?-- Give it back!" I shout.

"Not until you tell us where you got it." Hikaru says.

There's no way to win this without violence. So I swiftly crouch and spin, swinging my leg under the twins, knocking them down. I stand up, walk over to Kaoru, grab my necklace, and whisper in his ear.

"You chose the wrong person to mess with. Next time I won't hesitate to kick your asses. I don't care if I get suspended. Don't. Touch. My. Necklace." his eyes widen in fear. I get up and walk away as I re-clasp my necklace.

I walk into Music Room #3 as a meeting was taking place. I sit next Kyoya as I listen to Tamaki tell Haruhi to learn the waltz by the time the party comes.

"What party?" I ask.

"The host club is throwing a party to celebrate the first hostess. We will all take turns dancing with you, our first hostess. Haruhi has chosen to conceal her feminin identity. So she is to dance with you also. I assume you know the waltz?" Kyoya explains to me.

"Yes." I nod

"Good, because you are to teach Haruhi!" Tamaki exclaims.

"What! Why me?" I ask "Why not one of the guests?"

"It makes most sense, (n/n)-chan." Mitsukuni says.

Haruhi just sits there, confused.

"Can we say something?" the twins ask.

"I don't see why not." Kyoya says.

"So, we took (y/n)'s necklace and she got mad. Do you know why?" Kaoru asks Kyoya.

"(y/n), along with everyone else, doesn't like her things taken. Especially when it's special to her." Kyoya responds. I shoot Mitsukuni a look that says 'Don't you dare say anything' because he knows about the necklace and what happened Thursday night.

Hikaru notices the look. Crap.

"What was that look for, (y/n)?" he asks.

"What look?"

"The look you gave Honey."

"Mitsukuni may or may not know what happened. The look was simply to ensure he wouldn't tell anyone. Right. Mitsukuni?" I tell the truth.

"R-right (n/n)-chan!" he laughs nervously.

"Why don't you just call him 'Honey'?" Haruhi asks.

"That would be like Hikaru calling Kaoru 'Hitachi' it wouldn't make any sense because Haninozuka is my last name too." I respond like I hear the question every day.

"I might as well at least tell everyone how I got the necklace." I say.

Tamaki, Haruhi, and the twins become interested.

"Kyoya and I went to the lake on Thursday. Since my house is only a mile away, we decided to walk instead of taking one of Kyoya's limos. On our way, we saw a commoner's stand selling jewelry. I wanted to check it out so we did. I saw this necklace but I didn't say anything to Kyoya at all. He saw me looking at it and he bought it for me. He still won't let me pay him back. I haven't taken it off since Thursday. Until this morning, when SOMEONE took it from me. So, I knocked them over and told Kaoru I could kick his and his brother's asses." I say.
