Chapter 8 - The Party

A/N Sorry about this. I'm writing this chapter on my school computer. I don't know how to do bold, italics, or any of that stuff but I will change it when I do. It honestly feels better to type on an actual keyboard for once.

Kyoya's POV

I wake up to see (y/n) peacefully sleeping next to me. I check the time. 6:30? I never wake up this early. I decide to take a walk outside. I leave a note for (y/n) in case she wakes up while I'm gone. I gently kiss her forehead as to not wake her up and leave the room.

It's still somewhat dark outside, but not dark enough that I can't see. I walk to the bridge that goes over the stream in (y/n)'s backyard. I stop to stare at the koi that are swimming around. After a few minutes, I start walking again. I think about a few things that concern me. Like, if Tamaki is going to ruin the party, and I know he will somehow. If Hikaru and Kaoru are going to play pranks on the guests. What lingers in my mind the most, is what my future will be like. My job, my home, my family. Of course I will have my mother, father, and siblings, but what about my wife?

"Kyoya." I jump.

"Hello, Mori. What can I do for you?" I ask.

"What are you thinking about? I know it's not really any of my business, but I would like to help." he says. I stare at him for a moment shocked because that's the most I've ever heard him say.

"Well, I have just been wondering about (y/n). I love her with all of my heart and I want to be with her forever. I just hope we will last." I confess.

"(y/n) is one in a million. Only a handful of people are like her. The best quality she has is her loyalty. When (y/n) was in third grade, a group of popular kids asked her to join them. She politely refused and came back to Mitsukuni and I. Honestly, if she wasn't my cousin, I would be in love with her too.'' he laughs.

"I guess I just got lucky then." I say.

"Kyoya, if I know anything about (y/n), when she falls in love, she holds that person with her forever. I know she has fallen for you." he says

"Thank you, Mori." he nods and walks away.

I go back into the house to wake up (y/n). She yawns and pulls me towards her. I blush, thinking about what Mori said in the garden. I pick her up off of the bed and set her down onto her feet. She sends me out of the room so she could change and I change in the guest room. I meet her in the living room and we go head for school.

After my classes, I head to music room #3 to discover I'm the first one there. I walk over to my normal table and sit down. A few minutes later, I hear the host club burst in. I say nothing as they all come over to my table.

"Guess what Kyoya? You missed your girlfriend kicking ass today." Tamaki says.

"Well, I see it happen every day. Who was it this time?" I respond.

"He was the president of one of the martial arts clubs." he says. "I think he was sent to the nurse's office. (y/n) managed to explain herself and only got a detention. She's going to miss the party tonight though."

I stand up and leave the room.

"Kyoya, where are you going?" Haruhi asks.

I just keep walking. I make my way to the principal's office. I walk in and sit down in one of the chairs.

"Hello Kyoya, what brings you here today?" the principal greets.

"Mr. Kazama, I would like to reschedule a detention." I reply.

"What for?" Mr. Kazama asks.

"As you probably know, the host club is hosting a party tonight. It is mandatory that all of our hosts, and our hostess must be there. (y/n) Haninozuka, our hostess has gotten a detention taking place tonight during the party." I inform him.
