Chapter 5: Kate's Page
-One Year Later-
Kate and Eugeo started to hangout more often even with Eugeo's best friend Kirito. Now that
they are sophomores in the academy now they had more work to do the three of them have
pages of their own Eugeo's page's name is Tiese and Kirito's page is Ronie. Kate was able to have
a page herself an it's a girl named Rosie. Luinor left the academy a couple of months before the
second year to become a full fledged knight in the capital. He writes them letters time to time telling how things are going for them and how he can't wait to see them again.
-Early in the morning-
Kate was waiting for Rosie to meet up with her while the boys there already gone on a mission with their pages. A couple of minutes pasted Kate hears
"I'm here!" Rosie runs over to Kate out of breath
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to be late Lady Kate" Rosie says to Kate bowing begging for forgiveness
"It's ok Rosie, ready for today's lesson?" Kate asked.
"Yes I'm ready!" Rosie yells
"Alright let's get going" Kate told her.
- Later on while on break -
Kate an Rosie met up with Eugeo and Kirito with their pages.
"How was it Tiese?" Rosie asked.
Tiese turns to Rosie an Tiese laughs.
"It was alright Eugeo is a great mentor" Tiese told Rosie.
In the background the three of them are talking together after a couple of minutes of them talking the three of them nodded and goes to them *To Tiese, Rosie and Ronie*
"Alright Rosie I have a request from for this next part of this lesson" Kate told Rosie putting her hands together.
"What would you like me to do?" Rosie asked.
"For this part of the lesson you need to use your real sword this time" Kate says.
Rosie took a step back then said a little scared.
"I'm not sure if I'm ready for this Lady Kate" Rosie told her.
Kate puts one of her hands on Rosie's shoulder
"I know you're ready Rosie trust your skills you have learned" Kate told her
Rosie took a deep breath then nodded her head.
Kate smiled then turning to the boys
"I'll see you two later" Kate told them
Eugeo smiled an nodded an Kirito nodded as well when Kate see's this she and Rosie went off to get this lesson started.
- A little bit later -
Kate had her sword in hand standing in front of Rosie they were fighting two gobbletoads
Kate jumped out of the way of the toad attacking
"Do it now!" Kate told her
Rosie nods once. Rosie then jumps an attacks the toads with the special attack taking down both of the gobbletoads.
"Nicely done Rosie!"Kate told Rosie putting her sword away
"Thank you Lady Kate!" Rosie said with a big smile.
"Time to head back" Kate told Rosie.
Rosie nods her head then both of them walk their way back to the academy.
- Back at the Academy -
Kate was walking to Eugeo's dorm room when outside of Eugeo's dorm room she was knocked down by Raios and Humbert who wasn't watching where they were going when Kate fell back onto her back she looked up to them who there laughing at her.
"Will you watch where you're going.." Humbert said annoyed at her
"You're the ones who should watch where your going" Kate said getting up brushing off the dirt off of her clothes
"Why you little... Who gave you the right to talk to us like that!" Humbert getting even more mad at what Kate just told them.
"Now now Humbert there is no need to fight after all she is a lady she needs to be treated better by people like us" Raios tells him
"I'm so sorry for Humbert he has had a bad day but we must go have a lovely night my lady" Raios says taking Kate's hand kissing it.
Raios and Humbert walked away but no one could hear them say...
"Just you wait no one treats us like that..."
With Kate she nodded on Eugeo's dorm room door a second later Eugeo opens the door when Eugeo see's Kate he smiled an let her inside closing the door behind her.
Kate had a worried look on her face Eugeo see's this then asked
"Hey what's wrong?" Eugeo asked worried.
"I was just knocked over by Raios and Humbert I'm just creeped out honestly just a really bad feeling..." Kate told him
Eugeo didn't think before saying.
"What is wrong with them knocking you down without no care that you're a lady also if they would have done anything to you i wouldn't know what i would do with myself..." Eugeo said hugging Kate without thinking.
A couple of minutes later, they start to pull away
"Thank you that means a lot coming from you Eugeo" Kate told him looking at him in the eye
'Damn you're eyes Eugeo...' Kate thought to herself at that moment.
Eugeo moves closer to her just enough Kate could feel his breath on her check Kate moves closer as well but then within a second Eugeo moved back letting go of her
Eugeo an Kate were blushing
"You're welcome Kate I will always be there for you no matter what" Eugeo said to her
Kate smiled at him
"And I will always be there for you always Eugeo" Kate said to him.
