Chapter 5 - Confess and Reject

Kyrille's POV

I dropped my bag on my study table and flopped in my bed.

'New message received'

That's my ringtone when someone texted me. That line is said by a robot. Just say those words and robot-talk.

From: Nick
Hey Aria! Are you free tonight?

To: Nick
Yes. You know I'm always free on Friday night, right?

From: Nick
Oh yeah. I forgot. Ok! I'll pick you up at 7:00 tonight. We will be having a friendly date. See you! :)

Then, I shut my phone off. I closed my eyes for a few minutes and decided to prepare for our date.

I took a warm shower in the bathtub then wore my black sleeveless dress with red hearts scattered on it and a heart shaped hole below the neck. (Multimedia)

I wore my red heels with a bow that matches my dress. (Multimedia)

I put on my set of silver earrings and necklace with a matching silver bracelet. (Multimedia)

I curled my peach hair and placed a silver thingy which has designs of flowers on it. (Multimedia) (I don't really know what the thingy is called but if you know, comment the name for dedications/shout outs. PS. The hair looks gorgeous like me xD)

I put red make up, not too dark, light pink blush on and red lipstick.

I faced the human size mirror and looked at myself. I smiled.

I'm all ready for my date with Nick.

I grabbed my white purse with my phone and wallet inside and went downstairs where I saw Mom and Dad cuddling while watching Romeo and Juliet.

Mom noticed me and gave me a big and sweet smile. "Our little girl is all grown up now. You're a goddess, Kyrille." I smiled. "That's Park."

"Where will our princess go tonight?" Dad asked as I sat on a one seater chair. "Nick asked me out on a friendly date." I said.

"What?!" We all looked at Kaelyn screaming while running down the stairs. "Someone asked you out while you big and goddess sister don't have any date schedules yet?!" Me, Mom and Dad laughed.

"Correction. Park is a handsome and goddesses family." I said.

*Ding Dong!*

We all looked at the main door where Smith, our butler, is to open the door for the visitor.

"Young prince, Lord Nicolas is here." Smith said and bowed down while Nick entered the house with his white tuxedo.

Dad told Smith that when someone came to visit us, call them Majesty, prince or princess. Are we in a palace?

He proceeded to the direction of my family. He kissed Mom's hand, tapped Dad's shoulder and hugged Kaelyn.

"My Lady." Nick said to me and kissed my hand. "You look stunning."

I blushed. "Thank you."

He smiled, "Lets go?" I nodded and we said 'goodbye' to Dad, Mom and Kaelyn. We headed towards his car.

Nick's POV

I stared at Aria while she stepped inside my car.

Her perfect curled hair fits her perfectly. Her dress with matching red heels suits her. Her earrings, necklace and bracelet, she really loves silver.

I came back to the human world when I heard Kaelyn 'psst'.

I looked at her in the door peeking with a naughty smile on her face. "Staring at my lil sissy, ey? She's a goddess, right? Well, that's Park." I just smirked at her and got inside the car. I started the engine and drove to our destination, Gardens High.

Our date will be held under a tree full of lanterns. There's a table with a white cloth on it and two white chairs. (Multimedia) The foods? Her favorite ones and wine.

"Its romantic here." Aria said amazed.

I helped her to sat down as she keeps looking around the place.

"Mac and Cheese, my Lady?" I asked as I showed her the Mac and Cheese.

"WAAA!! No one steals Mac&Chiz from me. Come here my baby." She said and quickly grabbed the container full of Mac and Cheese.

We ate Mac and Cheese, chocolate cake and mousse, chocolate and cheese ice crean, white pasta (carbonara is what we call here in the Philippines) and watermelons. (Those are all my favorite foods.) See? I know her favorite. We also drunk grape wine.

The music became slow.

Take my hand

Take a breath

Locked to mine

"Can I have this dance?" I said extending my hand with a smile. She accepts it with a smile,too.

Won't you promise me

That you'll never forget

To keep dancing wherever we go next

She smiled and rested her head against my chest as we danced to the flow of the music.

"Aria?"

"Hmm?" I faced her and looked at her golden eyes.

"I didn't know when this feeling came inside me. Whenever you're with me, my heart flutters like a butterfly. When you smile, my heart stops and when I saw the gorgeous Aria tonight, everything was in slow motion." I explained.

"I think I'm inlove with, Aria. Not just a friend nor bestfriend. More than that." I said.

"I'm sorry Nick." Aria said and looked down. "I really don't have any feelings for you. I love you, yes, but only as a bestfriend. Sorry. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings." Aria added with a sad tone.

"Don't worry. I understand." I said and she looked at me with teary eyes. I smiled. "Don't cry ok? You didn't hurt my feelings." I said. "Just let me show you how much I love you. I'll wait for your feelings to come. Let me court you." I said and hugged her.

"Yes, you can." Aria said and hugged me back. I can feel her smiling.

No heartaches. No heartbreak. I understand her. She needs more time and besides, she's not in the right age yet.

I'll wait for you Aria. Even if it takes forever.
