Chapter 11 - You're on my Way

Kyrille's POV

I just did my own routine. You know, studying, throwing books in my locker, reading, blah blah blah.

I spotted Nity on the way. I walked to her with a genuine smile across my face.

"Hey, how's class?" I asked happily. Nity didn't respond and a frown was on her face.

I was about to say 'Hey, are you okay?' when she walked past me like I was not there. I walked to Nity and grabbed her arm and looked straight into her turquoise eyes. Her eyes seems to held mixed emotions like sadness or anger.

"You okay?" I asked with worry in my voice. She didn't say a word and yanked her arm away from me.

She ran away from me not saying another word. I swear I saw tears in her eyes and muttered something I didn't hear.

"Nity... W-why are yo-you so co-cold to m-me?" I whispered and my tears escaped my eyes.

Serenity's POV

I ran and ran away from Kyrille. Yeah. You heard me right. I called her Kyrille because of him.

I heaved a sigh. I miss her already.

"Did you ignore her?" I was surprised by him standing infront of me with his warning voice. "Y-yes." I saw him used his evil smirk.

"Good. And then one day, everyone in Daybreak High ignores her." He smirked again evilly and walked away laughing.

I heaved another sigh. Why do we need to be involved in this kind of situation?

I walked with my mind pre-occupied and my feet dragged me at the music room where no one was there. I sat on the corner of the room and rested my head on my knees.

Flashback:

I was standing infront of my locker, stuffing my books inside, when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and saw him.

"Oh, hi!" I said happily and smiled. I locked my locker and faced him. "Serene. Can we talk...alone?" He asked seriously. I don't like this kind of situation. His really serious. REALLY!

"U-uh. Su-sure." I uttered. He grabbed my arm and pulled me...to the janitor's room?

"Why are we here again? Its creepy." I whispered since he made a 'quiet please' sign. Before I knew it, he pinned me to the wall and looked at me with anger in his eyes.

"Stay away from her!" he yelled at me. I just stood there, shocked from what I heard.

"Who?" I questioned. Now I'm getting scared.

"You know you I'm talking about!" he spat and gripped me tightly. His cold glare and tight grip combined made me wince and quiver with fear.

"A-Ali?" I croaked, my bottom lip is now trembling.

"Yes! You're on my way so I can't make my move. So now, if you tell her or anyone else, it's curtains for you." he threatened.

I nodded, shakily and his grip on my arms relaxed. I yanked my arm from him and ran out of the janitor's room, crying.

"I have my eyes on you, Flitz." he said, smirking evilly as he watched me run away.

Why? Why would he even make us suffer?

End flashback

I was still crying. My once turquoise eyes are now red and puffy from crying earlier.

Why does he want to make everyone ignore Kyrille? Of all people, why her? She's an amazing person who doesn't deserve this kind of life.

More tears started to fall. Why would he have an attitude like this?

I walked out of the music room with a handkercheif covering my bloodshot eyes, depending on my sense of touch to guide me through the bustling halls.

***Somewhere, ??? POV***

I paced back and forth in my room, thinking about what I saw last Tuesday.

Flashback

I was walking through the empty halls because classes are dismissed. But I heard small whimpers of a girl from the janitor's room.

"Stay away from her!" a voice yelled angrily. The door was closed but there isn't a doorknob.

I peeked from the hole of the door and saw Serene and...him.

Serene's face had fear written all over it. But his face held some anger and other mixed up emotions.

Why is he doing this? I ran away back to my house and just forget what really happened.

End flashback

I just can't forget it!!!
