Alexander was real salty when he found out I was having a kid.

"You are already having a child LAURENS YOU ARE SO IRRESPONSIBLE AND NOW YOU ARE THROWING YOUR WHOLE LIFE AWAY!"

"Not really and plus I am kind of excited...it'll distract me"

"From what?"

Oh I don't know. The fact that you said you loved me and then went off and got married 2 months later. I could feel myself growing angrier and angrier. Alex came and kissed me in the cheek and that really pissed me off.

"ARE YOU TAUNTING ME" I yell standing up.

"No no Laurens I love you more than anything in the world but society it against this and if I want to do the things I wanna do in life then we are going to have to keep this a secret" He pleaded.

"So your financial plans and all that shit is more important?" I say gritting my teeth.

He looked really angry and slammed his quill down.

"GET OUT YOU STUPID BITCH...YOU KNOW WHAT I'LL GET OUT!"

I watched as he stomped out of the room. I guess I am doing these essays on my own tonight.

Alex's POV

I was so furiated with Laurens. It's not my fault that I don't want to arrested or looked down on. I started to feel guilt at the same time. I knew Laurens more did anyone did and I know that he honestly didn't want a daughter or to get married. I curled up into a ball against the wall just thinking. After a couple hours I fell asleep and woke up in Laurens bed.

"Morning sunshine"

"I hate you"

He smiled and laid a glass of water next to me.

"So where are you having your wedding?"

"South Carolina. Her family is there and my family is there also"

"Why is she here then?"

He shrugs and starts to brush his hair. I could tell why he always wore it up. It was a jumble of curls and poofs.

"Well can I come"

"Yeah you'll be my best man I'm not giving you a choice"

I just smile and close my eyes but I got smacked by a book.

"NO GET UP"

Laurens POV

The wedding was pretty great and Me and Martha made a promise to love our child dearly even if we don't love each other. Months later Francis is born and she became my pride and joy.

3 years pass and the war is still going on so I don't get to see my family much.

Battle of monument

Alex's POV

Lafayette was real mad today. I could tell why. Charles Lee was recently given the position of a general. But he is really shitting himself during this battle.

"HAMILTON" George Washington called

I jumped up with joy. He was finally going to give me command in office.

"SIR"

"Have Lafayette take the lead"

I sighed but Lafayette stomped by.

"LEE SIT YOUR ASS DOWN"

"Now now Lafayette calm down" I whisper.

A couple of days later I was walking with Laurens and Lafayette when we saw a big crowd of soldiers all circling Lee.
