Thea POV

After saying goodbye to my mom and dad, i walked outside just leaving Alex to pick up my bag. I mean that is what he was paid to do, but when i got outside i couldn't see his car at all but that couldn't be his surely. What i hadn't realised is that whilst i was stood there staring at the sleek black car, Alex had chucked my suitcase into the back, and had opened the passenger side door for me to get in. This was it. I waved to my mom and dad, they waved back but by now had already started crying. As i sat down  into the plush leather seats i took in my new surroundings. I studied Alex as he walked around to the other side of the car.  As soon as he sat down i felt nervous i wasn't sure why. He was just my bodyguard. My extremely good looking bodyguard. I figured i best start a conversation so the journey wasn't awkward.

"sooo" i said looking around "been in any car chases" i don't know why i said that and i cringed. Alex chuckled "not yet" he said "you should probably get some sleep miss the drive is going to be at least 4 hours ." after he said this i pulled my Versace blanket out from my bag and snuggled down and fell into a deep sleep.

Alex POV

The drive was long, and by the end i just wanted to go to sleep. I was driving to a cabin that one of my friends own and then then in two days, we were going to fly somewhere more safe.

All  i wanted to do was go to sleep. The sat nav said i had ten minutes of driving left, i felt relieved that i wouldn't have to drive for much longer. Thea was still asleep, wrapped up in her blanket, i decided i wasn't going to wake her up until we arrived. To save us both from more conversations.

It was a small lane, two cars would not be able to fit down there and at the end was a row of lodges. I pulled into lodge number sixteen. I turned the engine off and opened the door, hoping that the cool breeze would wake Thea up. I went and opened the cabin and turned the lights on. As i turned back to the car i noticed that she was still asleep. I felt guilty waking her up, so i didn't , i pulled the blanket off her and she was still in a deep sleep. So i picked her up from under her legs and placed her arm round my neck, and i carried her inside.

I left all the bags in the car and kicked the door shut with my foot. I turned all of the downstairs lights off and carried Thea upstairs. I came into the main bedroom and placed her delicate body on the bed. I covered her in a blanket and then i left the room.
