Food Scare

Wooo! First story. Let's go!

David was on the couch in his living room waiting for Josh to get back with food. He had his laptop open upfront of him and was furiously typing and clicking away.

Him and Josh had been in a relationship for a while but they decided not to tell anyone explicitly and instead hid jokes and hints in their videos. Josh liked to tease David and try and make him flustered on camera. Josh would call him nicknames like 'Cub' and David would blush everytime.

David didn't even notice the front door open and then shut as he was to invested in editing his next vlog. Josh walked through and dumped he food down on the kitchen counter. After unpacking everything he wondered where David was as he didn't say anything when he walked in.

He vaguely remember David saying something about editing before he left to get food so he figured he would be in the lounge on the couch.

He shuffled into the living room and just as he had expected David was there working hard on his vlog.

"Hey cub" Josh said.

David was too busy working to realise Josh was talking though.

"Dave?" Josh took a fee steps towards the couch but still nothing. He decided to run his fingers through the messy brown mop of hair on David's head. It always made David blush.

Just as he set his hand on David's head he felt the boy jump beneath him. He let out a small cry of fear and curled into himself the laptop sliding off his lap and next to him on the couch in the process.

"Dave baby. It's just me. I'm sorry for scaring you cub."

David looked up to see his boyfriend standing there with a worried look on his face. Josh was quick to move round the couch and lift David up, and sit where David had just been sitting, and placed David on his lap.

"You scared me" David mumbled and looked down at his lap. His cheeks were red from embarrassment.

"I'm sorry little cub"

he kissed David's red cheek and pulled him into a tight hug. David nestled his head into the crook of Josh's neck and inhaled his smell. They stayed their for a few minutes until David pulled away and asked,

"Did you get the food?"

"You know I did" Josh replied.

"Thank you"

Josh quickly pecked David's lips and stood up making David get off his lap. He took David's hand and led him into the kitchen where he had set out all the food.

"Are we doing this as a video for you channel?" David questioned.

"No his is just for us, cub."

"OK."

There was a brief moment of silence before David spoke up again.

"If you ever scare me like that again I will not be happy."

"You are the cutest thing ever, cub. But please eat , the food is getting cold."
