    But to explain the ending. If you ever watched "the Notebook" this bookwas sorta inspired by it. If you haven't watched the movie. The story was all in Frea's head, there were multiple tumors in her head that weren't found by doctors before being transferred to the hospital where Alyx worked. Martha was actually Frea's night nurse, Rahiam and Alyx were her Oncology doctors. 
    Her mind created a past with them because they spoke to her the most.
