Jughead pov:

"Hello I'm Betty Cooper"

It couldn't be her, this was 300 years ago, but she looked the exact same. The same deep green eyes, the same blonde hair, the same lips, the same everything. I thought what could possibly be reason for her not aging, then I realized,

I immediately continue to search up any information I can find. "Vampires" "Proof vampires exist."

I kept searching until I saw a cite, "Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches" I click on the website and see 3 articles, one for Vampires, Witches, and Werewolves. I decide to read the vampire one only, that was the only on I was taking part in, or so I thought.

When vampires crave blood veins appear under eyes and fangs can be seen. Check

Super fast speed. Check

Never age. Check

Check, Check, Check. Everything listed on the cite was defining Betty, Hermione and Veronica. I looked over at Betty's window and see her sitting on her desk. She looks back and smiles at me, I don't smile back, just looked at her in horror. She was a monster, she suck peoples blood, she was going to kill me.

She looked at me confused and I bolted downstairs, "DAD, MOM" I screamed and they all headed towards me at the bottom of the stairs. "What what's wrong" My dad said, holding my shoulders.

"They are vampires" I choked out and my dad immediately turned to my mom, shocked. "WHY ARENT YOU DOING ANYTHING THEY ARE GOING TO KILL US" I yelled but my dad told me to shut up. I was confused but listened. I then heard a knock on the door, immediately knowing who it was. I panicked and ran to the door, opening it to see Betty, Veronica, and Hermione.

I looked at them in fear and they must have noticed, "We aren't here to hurt you, we can't" Veronica said, but I kept my eyes locked on Betty. She frowned and looked down, "Let us explain" Hermione said and her and Betty walked in, while Veronica stayed outside.

"Hello, I'm a little stuck here" She said like it was obvious, "Oh yea, Veronica you can come in" My dad said and I shot my head at him, he shrugged and we all walked into the living room.

"Okay now explain to me what the hell is going on" I said, pointing at everyone in the room. Betty sighed, "We are vampires, as you know" She said not making eye contact with me. I look at my dad, "You too" I whisper and he just chuckles "No boy" He says, "Then how are you not freaking out that there are vampires in our fucking house" I said, not making eye contact with anyone but my dad. "I knew they were vampires" he whispered, looking down.

"How" I said, I needed answers, but I wasn't getting any. "That doesn't concern you" My mom said suddenly and my eyes made there way to Betty, looking straight at me, "Why didn't you tell me" I whisper to her, all of a sudden I see her eyes get dark and she starts yelling, "You think I wanted this life Jughead, being a monster, wanting to survive off of blood, wanting to be running away from my parents for 300 years Jughead, 300 fucking years, I didn't tell you because it's my duty to protect you." She said now sobbing, "Protect me?" I ask, then my dad looks at me.

"Betty and you are what you call mates, once you find your mate it's your duty to protect them, you are Betty's mate so she needs to protect you" My dad explained, my eyes still fixed on Betty, her eyes were glossy and her cheeks were stained of tears. "What else are you hiding from me" I said bitterly. Betty shot her head towards my dad and he sighed, "You have to figure that out yourself boy" He says, standing up. I'll leave Betty and Jughead to talk alone, I have some blood bags in the basement if you ladies want some" My dad says to V and Hermione, they nod and they head off to the basement.

"I'm sorry Jughead" Betty whispers, I touch her chin and make her look at me. "I just have a couple questions" I said and she nodded.

"Why couldn't Veronica come in but you and Hermione could?"

"In order for a vampire to enter a house they do not own they need to be invited in by the owner, Me and Hermione have been invited in before and V hasn't"

"Who invited you guys in"

"Hermione and Fp knew each other before hand, she has been here before, and your dad invited me in so I could help you"

"Help me what"

"You drank my blood, vampire blood can heal any open wounds, for humans and vampires"

And with that they left and i went straight to bed, overthinking everything, she was a vampire, a vampire for fucks sake. But I couldn't keep away from her, no matter how hard I tried, I wanted her.
