"ARE YOU GUYS ALL READY?" clay asked clearly through his headset. today he would be live-streaming a man vs hunter just for fun since you were the newest member added to their trio. though you knew each other for quite a long time, they had yet to even put your skills to the test.
there was a chorus of 'yes's coming from you, nick, and george. you quickly quadruple checked to make sure all of your wires and plugs were good to go and everything was working normally. you were a little nervous since this was your first livestream with them part of the 'dream team' as it was called. you weren't sure how everyone would react and you could only hope that it wouldn't be as bad as you expected.
"ok, i'm going live in like three seconds." clay announced. there was nothing but silence as the four of you waited for clay to speak again once his viewers came rolling in. "there's a few people here already, okay."
"alright, hi everyone!" dream spoke again, a little more enthusiastic as he greeted the incoming viewers. "today we're going to be doing another manhunt just for practice, but there's a special guest."
"and you guys may or may not know them already because they are very popular on youtube." george adds in, making your cheeks heat up a bit at the attention.
"yeah, they already have like 2 mil subscribers, like what the hell?" sapnap also adds in. you held back the laugh that was close to escaping, instead taking a sip of your water to hold it back.
"okay, whatever, the special guest is y/n, y/n say hi!" dream introduced you, quickly shutting down sapnap's passive aggressive joke.
"hi!" you chuckled, taking yourself off of mute and leaning forward towards your microphone. you stood in front of dreams character so that you were now in frame.
there was no doubt that you were nervous, and scared, about how the viewers would react. sure they've seen dream interact with you plenty of times, but what would they think about you becoming the fourth member of the 'gamer group'?
