Info: After reluctantly being exposed to determination, and forced to fuse with an amalgamated fracture of two human souls as a child, Sans became capable of transforming into a Blaster. He never had control of when it happens, but as far as he knows, it's connected to determination. However, after his regular input of DT ceased years ago, the transformations gradually stopped. He believed that the amalgamate was broken and that he wouldn't be affected by it as drastically anymore. He can still draw power from what's left of it, which is why he's aware of resets, and is able to use a feeble but constant force of impact on an opponents soul during battle (karmic retribution). The Gaster Blasters, built by Dr. Gaster, were modeled after him and his magic during his time in the lab, used to analyze the potential power of the amalgamate. It was a shock for him to learn that the amalgamate souls are still intact enough to cause him to transform even as an adult, especially since the last time it caused him to switch forms was in his childhood. For some reason... he never fully changed back.
