Summer after high school when we first met

"This is the new manager." Kiyoko said as she moved aside to reveal the [H/C] girl.

"Isn't that the new transfer student?" A short orange hair boy asked.

"Y-yes, I was forced to transfer here from Aoba Johsai."

"Tsukishima, do you mind telling her what to do?" Another white haired guy asked.

I looked at him before putting out my hand, "H-hello! I'm [F/N] [L/N]!"

"Tsk short." He scoffed, not even bothering to shake my hand.

"Huhhh?!"

We make out in you mustang to radio head

"Are you ready Tsukki?" I asked as I grinned at him.

"I told you to call me Kei, didn't I?" He walked towards me, getting closer and closer. Soon, his face was only an inch away from mine.

"A-ah! Kei! Wh-what are you doing?!" He scoffed before pressing his soft lips against mine.

And on my 18th birthday we bought matching tattoos

"Kei let's get matching tattoos for my 18th birthday!" I grabbed his hand and showed him a variety of couple tattoos we could get

"Are you sure you want to ruin that soft skin of yours?" He smirked. I nodded and dragged him into the tattoo shop.

"This one looks nice..." I stared at a couple tattoo design. (You can choose what design you want) Tsukishima held my hand before looking down at me, "If you want we can get it."

"Yay!"

Used to steal your parents liquor and climb to the roof

"Pst!" I whispered. I knocked on Kei's window one more time. The blonde woke up and looked at me, thinking what could one possibly want at 3am in the morning.

I held two bottles of liquor as I winked at him and signalled for the roof.

Talk about our future like we had a clue

"What's up with you? You've been quite distant recently, and suddenly today you show up at my house at 3am?" Tsukishima asked

The girl never replied as she started into the endless galaxy

"How many kids do you want, Kei?" I asked, as I gulped down another glass of wine.

"Hmm? I don't want any.." The blonde said before looking at the [H/C] coloured girl. You could tell that disappointment was written all over her face. "But if it's you I don't mind" He cupped her cheeks with his hand and kissed her.

"Promise you will never leave me okay..?" Kei said as he pulled away.

"....."

"I love you Kei!!" The girl said before tackling the boy, pinning him down.

Never planned that one day, I'd be losing you

"Hello? Is this Kei Tsukishima?"

"Yes why?" He asked as he gulped down a bottle of water.

"Miss [F/N] [L/N] is in the hospital right now and is in critical condition, we think she only has a few weeks left to live."

He felt his whole world tumble as he heard those few words. He never knew that his heart could break into half from those sentences.

"What? What do you mean? How is she? Is she okay? What's wrong with her?!" He screamed as he felt hot teats streaming down his face.

"Miss [F/N] [L/N] has been diagnosed with cancer for a few months now...did you not know?"

In another life, I would be your girl

"[L/N]!" I heard the door swing open as I weakly turned my head around. I was in critical condition and my life was clinging onto the IV.

I saw Kei, standing there with tears streaming down his face.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell y-" He ran up to me and hugged me tightly, his sobs wet my shirt but I didn't care. 

"I fucking love you Y/N L/N"

We keep all our promises be us against the world

"Kei."

He looked up at me as he held my hand, fingers intertwined with mine.

"Stop visiting me."

In another life

"Hell no." My eyes widened at his answer as he tightened his grip on my hands.

"You don't understand, I'm dying Kei" , "I don't want you to get closer to me and only have your heart broken at the end! I don't want you to watch me slowly decay!" I screamed with all the might I had left.

"No, besides I've gone too far to do that." He sighed, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"In another life, I promise we will meet again."

I would make you stay

"No visitors are allowed today." The nurse in front of [Y/N]'s ward blandly said.

"Why?"

"She has lost 12kg since yesterday and we are putting her under critical surveillance, come back tomorrow."

I gripped the bouquet of flowers in my hand as I turned to leave.

So I don't have to say you were the one that got away

"I'm sorry for your loss." Salty warm tears dripped onto the counter top as he dug his face into his hands.

He entered her hospital ward. On her bed sat a letter and the sweater she would always wear so she could smell like home instead of the hospital.

He opened the letter as he carefully examined her neat handwriting.

Dear Kei,
                    If your reading this letter, I assume that I am no longer with you. Remember when we met? Sugawara-senpai asked you to show me around and help me when I first became the manager. I'm really glad he did, otherwise we wouldn't have became friends and became so close.

I'm really glad that I transferred to Karasuno. I met lots of people.
And more than anything, I met you.

You asked me over and over again why I always stuck around you, and whenever I told you because I found you interesting, you always doubted me. But I hope you know it's true, I always found you interesting despite your ignorant attitude.

You're way smarter, quiet and stronger than me. But for some reason you always interested me and I couldn't stop hanging out with you, and finally one day you asked me out.

Ever since I found out I was diagnosed with cancer, I tried to distance myself from you, to protect you. I wonder what it is I wanted to protect you from.
I wanted to protect you from fate.
The fate that tries to carry you away, drifting further and further.

I'm really glad that you chose me and gave me a chance to experience what true love was.

I love you Kei. You're not alone. I'm by your side.
My soul is always with you.
