Part 4

It's 2 am... I feel so tired...

   Considering that I haven't slept easily, I was overcame by a wave of fatigue while driving.

I need sleep... I don't wanna cause an accident or something...

Where do I go? I can't just continue on the road this tired...

   At the corner of my eye I saw a gasoline station with a store and I made my way there to buy some energy drinks. I parked my car and went inside the store wearing my face mask. I headed to the drinks and got what I needed, also got myself some food because I was getting hungry.

   I handed it to the cashier who smiled at me "Hello Sakusa you look so tired" he said and my sleepy self just looked at him with a blank face "And you are?" I asked and he looked at me with a frown but then he wore a face of realization and smiled "Oh sorry I forgot we never talked before" he says and I looked at the name tag.

Ukai???

Wait- Isn't this the volleyball coach in high school?

   I remember hearing about him "Oh you're the coach in high school, why do you know me?" I asked as I took out my wallet to pay "Many students were talking about the infamous transfer student at that time so of course I know you" he said with a raised brow and a grin and I sighed handing him my pay.

   "People were talking bad about me huh?" I say as he shrugged "I dunno I wasn't really that interested" he says as he takes out a cigarette and hands me by bag and I take it "You look so tired, if you wanna take a nap go ahead" he said beckoning at the tables next to the window "No thank you, I prefer taking a nap in my car I said and he puffs out a smoke "suit yourself, if you take long outside I'll make you leave myself" he says as I turn around and left.

   I make my way to the car and took a seat at the passenger seat. I was rethinking if I should continue on the road or just sleep, if I sleep I might come there a little later and I'm avoiding meeting my neighbors plus I have to unpack and stroll around the house to get used to the new environment...

   But still Ukai gave me the chance to sleep even if it was in my car in a gasoline station, I won't take that chance away. I yawned and used my hands as a cushion for my head and closed my eyes and let sleep take it's toll.

Shit.

   I was woken up with the bright light of the sky and I realized that I had just let the night pass. I frantically searched for my phone, I was still tired but right now I was more worried about the time. It was already 6 am and I still had 3 hours to get there plus the traffic in Tokyo is gonna make me lose my mind!

   I pulled on my hair in irritation and regret to sleeping for so long. I looked at the bag that was full of what I had just bought and grabbed an energy drink, opened it and gulped it down.

Was I that tired that I had to sleep for that long?

There's still some time for me to get to that place, ugh I wanted to go early so I didn't have to be seen by my neighbors.... I just hope that they aren't outside when I get there.

I hope they won't acknowledge my presence at all.

   I thought to myself as I got out of the passenger to go to the driver's seat but I was stopped with a voice "Already leaving? You had a long nap, I'm surprised that you could sleep so comfortably in a car" Ukai said while her was holding a basket with something that looked like apples, he noticed my gaze and took one out and it was indeed an apple.

   "Want one?" He asked and I shook my head "No thanks" I said as I open the door to my car and got inside "suit yourself her says as he walks away.
