This Is Home (SakuAtsu)

Part 5

"Class welcome Kiyoomi Sakusa, he'll be joining us for his third year. He's been home schooled his whole life and this is his first time in a real school so please treat him well" my teacher introduced me while I stare blankly at the empty seat by the window that I guess I was about to sit on.

"Mr. Sakusa please take the empty by the window" with that being said I made my way to the seat, not bothering meeting gazes with anyone as I re-adjust my mask. I sat down and I can feel a lot of gazes at me but I just decided to stare outside the window.

"Hey Sakusa!" The person beside me calls out and I glanced at him. He had gray hair with black streaks on it, I look at him gesturing him to continue with my eyes "My name is Kotaro Bokuto! Nice to meet you! Ma'am said it's your first time in a school I hope you enjoy it here" he says as I feel myself get annoyed.

"Sakusa?" He calls out with a curious tone "Hello Sakusa???" He calls out again and I clicked my tongue "Annoying..." the words fall off and I hear him gasp "I- sorry" he says with a pout and turns his gaze back at the lesson while I look back at the sky not bothering to pay attention to the curious gazes and the class that was going on.

Classes has finally ended and I packed my bags to prepare to leave but suddenly 2 guys, one short guy with fluffy looking hair and another that was drinking milk with a scowl on his face, came up to me excitedly "Sakusa-san! Welcome to our school! Wanna join our club? We're from the volleyball club!" The guy with orange hair asks and the other one glares at him "You boke that's not how you invite someone to join a club" the other guy says and I glare at the both of them "Y-you don't have to i-if you don't want to" the tangerine says nervously and I sling my bag on my shoulders "I'm not interested" I decline and I hear the milk boy scold him but I just walked away.

"Oh-" before I could leave, someone was by the door. He had gray hair and was looking at me plainly "Oh you're the new student right? Wanna join the volleyball club?" he invites and I look at him blankly.

What is up with the volleyball club?

"No I'm not interested" I said "Fair enough" he shrugged while he walks inside. I stepped out the classroom and headed out.

"Look it's the new student! His name was Sakusa Kiyoomi right? I heard he rejected Bokuto-san's attempts in trying to be friendly" I heard someone say by the corner and I stopped on my tracks "Yeah and Hinata just invited him to join the volleyball club but he declined! He's missing out!" The other says and I scowl.

Gossipers huh?

and what is up with the volleyball club? Are they such a big deal?

I sigh and took out my map and looked for the volleyball court. I wanted to check it out but I still wasn't planning on joining. I made my way there with the help of my map and it was a long walk. This school was so spacious I'm surprised I wasn't lost before...

Is this the right way? Damn...

Almost getting lost, I follow the tracks that headed to the volleyball court. This place was so wide but I can't deny that the view was beautiful. After a while, I finally saw the gym and I fast walked toward there.

When I got there, it was open and I could hear the sound of balls hitting the ground. I looked inside and saw someone inside. I set my gaze at the figure and realized that it was one of my classmates. He had a tall frame but I could tell that I was taller, he also had blonde hair and he looked similar with the guy I bumped into by the door in our classroom. It looks like he was about to do a serve. He breathes in with his eyes closed and when he opens them I suddenly found myself unable to look away from his figure.
