Chapter Eight

I opened my eyes but there was no Light, like it's still dark out side the same time I got here, did I sleep all night ? And skipped the whole morning or is there another explanation, I got off the bed, the floor was cold, I got out to ask Lucinda for socks, but first I headed to the bath, looked at my self in the mirror, my black hair was in a missy way, it's wavy and I can't control it, I found a new tooth brush that had my name on I guess Lucinda put it there for me, I brushed my teeth and fixed up my hair a little, then I got out of the bathroom and headed to Lucinda's room I knocked on the door but no one answered, so I opened the door just a little, I whispered " Lucinda " but there was no answer, so I squeezed only my head inside the door but I noticed Lucinda is sleeping on Luke chest, they just look great together they are sleeping in a peaceful way, I didn't bother them.

I got down stairs to look for something to eat I'm starving, so I headed to the kitchen it was a modern one with a lot of roofs and small doors made of glass, I opened the fridge, and my eyes were wide open from what I've seen only blood bags was there, and something dead like an animal, ugh I felt like I'm gonna throw up so I closed the fridge and headed to a small cabinet that had coffee, finally something I can drink, I heated water and made some coffee, I walked through the corridor and stared at the pictures that it had, there was a picture of Lucinda and luke together in the snow and Dimitri behind them, and another picture that had an old man with three small kids when I focused my eyes on the picture I knew that It was my father and my two uncles they were wearing suites, I smiled at the picture, there was a lot more on the other wall of the corridor but I found myself in front of the living room, I heard someone saying strange words in a freaky language I walked in he was a guy I couldn't see his face, " Hello " I said
Then he jumped off his place " Jesus ". In a freaked out tone, " I'm so sorry I didn't mean to freak you out " I said " No, it's fine I just didn't know that anyone will be awake now " he said but he continued " you must be Sara the new girl " he asked, " yup, that's me " I said .

" Oh hey, I heard about you yesterday, Dimitri told me about you I'm his brother Eric " he said, I was surprised to hear that Dimitri talked about me " so your my cousin too " I said " No, me and Dimitri lived here with Luke but still he is like a brother to us " he said " Oh, like you're really old friends " I said " yeah, you can say that" he said .

" I'm sorry to ask but what were you doing there talking in a strange way " I said, " Yeah that, I was practicing " he said , " practicing, I didn't know vampires practice strange language" I said while chuckling, " oh no no you got it wrong, I'm a witch " he said " A witch ? But Dimitri is " he interrupted me " yeah Dimitri had a rough life he was a witch like me but he had to change or he was going to die, you've noticed his strange attitude, he just hate him self" he said " hate him self why ? " I asked .

" well as I told you he had a rough life he saved his true love but she couldn't handle his death so she sacrificed her soul for him so that he can live, and from back then until now he still hates him self for everything, he push people away " he said in a kinda sad tone

I looked at my coffee and didn't know what to say, " I'm sorry for his loss " I said "Well it's okay, I'm sorry for your loss too " I gave him a nod and a little smile " Thank you." I said.

" You're welcome " he said, he looked around and then told me "Want me to show you a trick " I gave him a smile and said " Yeah sure " he told me to place my hand on the table " ok " I said.

Then he started that weird language again, and then he surprised me with fire coming out of his hand he handed it to me, I thought it will burn me but It didn't, I looked at it while I'm laughing and Eric looked at me while he is smiling " Great isn't it ? " he asked " It's amazing !! " I said in an excited way .

Then Dimitri came in the living room " Hey brother " Eric said " Hi " he answered in a cold way then Dimitri looked at me and said " you're still here ?", " where should I go " I said " go back were you came from you don't belong here" he said, I got up and the fire vanished from my hand, I walked to the kitchen and ignored him.

Eric followed me and said " please don't be sad you know why he is like that I told you ", " yeah it's okay, but I hope he can get, that life goes on and nothing stand still, and he should do that " I said " well we are still hoping for him to get better ", Dimitri got in the kitchen and he opened the fridge and took a blood bag that had a sticker on it saying " O negative " which was my blood type too then before he went out I faced him and said " I'm sorry for your loss " but he opened the blood bag and walked away up stairs .
