Chapter Nine

I tried to hold my nerve, and I tried not to be mad, I have to be more understandable, I turned myself and looked at Eric and I tried to smile then he told me " Do you want to have a walk with me ? " he said " yeah.. Yeah sure " I answered he walked and I walked behind him, he opened the door and a breeze of air came inside.

I didn't thought about my pajama, I just needed that walk, We walked but it's still dark here, I looked up at the sky but still it was as if it was yesterday, was I that much tired, Eric looked at the sky too, " hhhh you're amazed with the sky, aren't you ? " he asked " well yeah it's amazing, but that wasn't what I was thinking about " I said " and what were you thinking ? " " there is no morning here ? " I asked, " well yeah there is no sun here, unless if you want the rest to burn " he chuckled " well no no god no I was just wondering if I slept all day " I said
" well as I know now it's 6 pm in the real world " he said, I looked up again at the sky " and how did you know that " he looked up too, "do you see that star over there" he pointed at a big star " if it's bright enough it tells me the time, we study that thing here in magic and if it's dark but still enough shiny to know that it is a star, it means that it is dark there " he said " wow, that's really fascinating " .

Then I tripped from something pointy and sharp and fell on Eric, it took me a minute to realize that I fell, I opened my eyes and found myself on the top of Eric we had a small eye contact, then I said " I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I tripped." I said " Its okay chill, can you move? " he asked I tried to move but i groaned in a painful way there was something hurting me in my leg " I don't think so, I think I got hurt " but eventually I got up and he was still on the ground " oh my god Sara, you're bleeding ! " he said it in a freaked tone, he got up fast, he had like a little scratch on his hand, I looked at my leg and I saw blood a lot of, I just didn't move i got into a deep shock, I've always hated blood and that thing reminded me of a lot of worse stuff, Eric called my name but I didn't answer still staring like I couldn't focus at all.

I felt Eric hands behind my back, he was holding me and running, then we got to the house he ran up stairs and he placed me on the bed, not in a second all the three ' Luke, Lucinda and Dimitri' was here then Eric said " I'm sorry guys but I didn't know where to take her, I know the blood controlling and stuff but she is bleeding from her leg " he was saying that in a really fast way, Lucinda came closer and said " it's okay Eric go bring a hot water and your magic book I need you to be calm and to do a spell " he ran off to get the stuff I can hear him running down, I looked at Lucinda " you are going to be fine, don't worry" I moaned again from pain.

Dimitri came closer to the bed and told Lucinda " the others will smell the blood, and they will come for her " Lucinda looked up at him " that's why I'm depending on your brother, he can do a protection spell and a healing spell ", Eric got back he was breathing in a heavy way " okay I got everything that I can use" Lucinda touched my wound but this time I screamed, " Eric you need to heal her with magic as fast as you could " he nodded and then started that weird language.

My wound felt like burning, boiling and there was nothing that could describe the pain that I was going through I screamed from pain Lucinda took my hand, I could see that Luke and Dimitri was standing out of the room, and Eric is trying to do his best, then Eric stopped and he checked the wound and said " it's gone but there is a little scar " I couldn't look or focus I was just sweating and hating the pain.

" Luce I need water " that was the first thing I said after the pain vanished, " okay, I'll bring you water and then you are going to rest okay ? " she said, " okay " I answered

Lucinda walked out the room, and then I looked at Eric and said " Thank you " he came beside me and smiled " I'm sorry, I know it was painful but It was our only choice, you can't be healed that easily" he said I looked at him " what am I Eric ? " he looked at me in a confused way " I'm afraid I can't answer that, you're a human a pure soul with pure blood that's all I know and that's all you know " he said, then he tried to change the subject " tell me about your brother " he said " My bro.... Brother was a warm blood " I said " oh gosh " he said.

" and they killed him because they were scared he would harm people or he would not be able to control himself, I remember that he couldn't even hurt a bug, I remember when he used to tease me at school he would pick on me infornt of my friends, and he used to make jokes about me and a guy that I liked, and when we come back home he used to argue about how I'm bad at cooking and we end up eating pizza outside the house " I had tears in my eyes but all I know I was smiling while saying that.

Eric looked at me and he touched my shoulder " I'm sorry" I just shook my head giving him the answer.

Lucinda came in with a glass of water " Eric !! You're still here go work on the protection spell her blood smell is still spreading " she said " oh gosh, I'll be back to check on you " he said I smiled at him, then he walked out of the room, I started wiping away the tears of my eyes, " It's okay to talk about your brother " she said handing me the water, " you heard that ? " I asked " we all did, we are vampires remember " I drank the water then she got up telling me to have a rest.
I closed my eyes trying to have happy thoughts but it ended up with something worse.
