I stared at the lobby wall for a prolonged period. My mind filled with thoughts I wasn't able to put in words. The couch was comfortable, not comfortable enough to sleep on, which was a shame, but comfortable enough to sit on for the extended period.
A mint haired man entered the building, opening the door and letting the cold air in. I shivered. "Is that an interesting wall?"
I chuckled, "I have nothing else to do,"
"Go back and sleep," He pointed at the digital clock on the wall, "It's late,"
"I don't want to yet," I replied, turning my head and looking back at the empty wall. "Well, don't stay up too late then," He said as he entered the lift.
I nodded my head, though the lift door had already closed.

I was kicked out of my rented apartment the next day. I did beg, of course I did try, but she refused to let me stay. "I'm getting my pay in a few days time, please, I need a place to stay,"
"I'm sorry but there's someone else who wants to rend this apartment for a far better price. I can't let you stay,"
"Please I-" I didn't even finish my sentence until the door slammed shut right in front of my face. That was great, what a fantastic start to the weekend. I would go out hunting for apartments to rent again but it was around February approaching March, so it as freezing cold outside.
I found a seat in front of an apartment and sat down, lying my luggage down beside me. I opened it and a fishy smell went up my nose. I gagged. It was the remaining sandwich I left about a week ago. It became all mushy and didn't look like a sandwich anymore. I pinched my nose and threw it in a nearby rubbish bin.
I examined the insides of the luggage. It had a couple sweaters, t-shirts, a jacket and some jeans. I just washed the load the previous day so it shouldn't be too bad. I was looking for some food, but there were none, so I zipped up the luggage.
As I stood up, the door to the apartment in front of me opened and I almost peed myself. I stood face to face, in front of a mint-haired guy. His hair was like super fluffy and I had this extreme urge to touch it. His pale skin matched well with the white shirt he wore, matched with black leather pants.
He looked up at me and gave me a slight smile, "Are you waiting for someone?"
"Uh no."
"Then were you waiting, for me?"
I scrunched my face up in disgust, "Why would I wait for you?"
"Dunno, maybe cause you like me or something," He sent me a wink.
"Nasty," I replied. "Real talk though, why are you sitting here?"
"Well, if you had ears you would've heard a lady shouting just now. Yeah, that was at me."
He lifted both his eyebrows, "Ah, right. You didn't pay rent."
"Yes,"
"Well, I dunno if this will come off as weird or anything but you can live here if you want."
I widened my eyes, "Reallyreallyreallyreallyreally You'rereallylettingmestayhereohmygodthankyou."
He looked at me weirdly, "Yeah, as long as you don't mess the place up too badly."
"Yesyesyesyes I won't."
I saw him glance down the hallway before pulling me into his arms. I stared at him as he continued to eye something behind me. "Tsk, these parents should teach their children better." One of his hands gripped onto my wrist and the other on my waist with my chest lingering dangerously close to his, I felt a little bit uncomfortable. I cleared my throat.
