Laura's POV:
We all fell in the hole and we were all in this chute. We all got separated from each other. I then fell into a room.
I got up and I looked around. The room was very wide and spacious but there was something weird about it, it had this big glass in the middle that separated me from the other side of the room.
I saw Lara drop from the ceiling from the other side of the room. She got up and she saw me, looking in through the glass. She was pounding on the glass, trying to break it. She was talking to me but I couldn't hear her.
"Lara! We'll get out of here, I promise!" I told her, raising my voice, hoping that she can hear me.
3rd Person POV:
"Step away from the glass!" Isaac told the twins through telekinesis.
Laura complied and stepped back a few spaces, Lara on the other hand, kept pounding on the door, trying to break it.
Isaac was just observing the twins from the control room. He saw that Lara was still pounding on the glass, completely ignoring his demand.
Isaac then pressed a button on his control panel. That made the glass send an electrical shock to make Lara step away from the glass. Lara got electrocuted and she stepped away from the glass.
"Good. Now that we have an understanding, I presume you're confused as to why you're here." Isaac told the twins.
"Why have you brought us here, Isaac?" Laura asked.
"I have prepared a little test made specifically for you two."
"And why should we listen to you?" Lara asked him. "If me and my sister got out, we're gonna kill you!"
"Well, if you don't pass the test, you'll never escape this room. If you want to get to me, then you two must do as I say."
The twins thought about it, and they agreed, even though Lara was very reluctant to do so.
"Perfect, now look at the other side of the glass."
The twins looked at each other in the glass. Both are confused as to why he made them look into the glass.
"What am I looking at here? All I see is my sister." they responded at the same time.
"Well, are you certain that that's really your twin sister?"
"Well, yeah." Laura responded. "She has her gloomy personality, her black hair, that's my twin sister."
"Yep, that's my twin sister." Lara responded. "She has her cheerful personality, her blonde hair, everything checks out."
"Well, what if I told you that she's not your twin sister."
"What?" Laura asked, worriedly.
"You can't be serious." Lara didn't believe him.
"Listen, you know that I can make shadows into people. Allow me to demonstrate."
Then the twins saw a shadow forming from the other side of the glass. The twins then saw two of their sister in the other side of the glass; Laura saw another Lara next to Lara, and Lara saw another Laura next to Laura.
The twins were surprised to see this happen, and the clones have dispersed. They were very confused and they were thinking about if Isaac's words were true or not.
"I could be wrong for assuming that but I'll just remove the glass and settle this."
Isaac then removed the glass and the room was no longer divided. The twins were very confused now if Isaac's words were true.
"This is a load of crap, Isaac!" Lara screamed at him. "You better let us out! Right now!"
Laura's POV:
I was confused. Maybe he's right, maybe she's not the real Lara and she could be in another room. But, I can't just shoot her right there, if she really is a fake, she looks a lot like my sister, I can't just hurt her. Aaahh! I dunno what to do!
I don't know what's real or what's not anymore!
I pointed my crossbow at Lara, assuming that she is a clone. She noticed and she was surprised.
"What the hell is this?" she asked me. "Are you kidding me right now?"
"I'm sorry, but I don't know what's real or what's not anymore!" I replied.
She then armed her crossbow and aimed it at me.
"Don't tell me you actually believe this psycho!" she told me. "He's got your mind tangled! Don't believe his lies!"
I didn't know who to believe, my mind is hurting from all the confusion. I have no choice, because maybe Lara's still alive and this is a clone.
I fired my crossbow at her and she dodged it. She was very angry at me.
"Are you really believing him?" she told me. "I thought you knew better!"
She then fired at me and I dodged it.
"See? She's not your sister! She's nothing but a clone trying to trick you!"
We were trying to bring each other down. I believed that she was a clone so I had to take her down.
We were exchanging fire at each other for quite some time until I had landed a hit on her. I hit her on her right knee and it brought her down to one knee.
She then pulled out the arrow and she collapsed on the floor. I then shot her again and the arrow landed on her chest. She wasn't moving or anything.
I stepped closer and I checked her. Normally, if I had killed a clone, it would disappear in a black smoke. She didn't. Now I realised that I killed my own sister.
"No! Nonononono, this can't be happening." I told myself.
I grabbed Lara and I lightly shook her.
"No! Lara..." I started crying.
"Lara... I'm... I'm sorry..." I apologised.
I looked up and the wall in front of me had opened some sort of door. I think that might be the way out of this room, but that doesn't matter to me.
I was clutching my sister's body in my arms. Her lifeless eyes just stared at me. It's my fault that she's dead, and I would carry this guilt for the rest of my life. I can never change the fact that she's dead because of me.
Never. Never. Never. Never...
