Epilogue

Mika's POV:

We were outside the stronghold and Daniel had called a helicopter in to give us a ride back to the academy. It took us a while but we made it to the academy. The helicopter touched down and we all got out.

"Thanks for the help, Autumn." I thanked her. "Tell your father that we are thanking him too."

"Anytime." Autumn simply replied.

"I hope that wound heals soon, Autumn." Akira told her.

"Don't worry, it will." Autumn replied.

We all said our goodbyes to each other and the helicopter took off. We were so happy that we all got back but we lost Lara. So, it wasn't all good.

We all went up to the stairs of the academy and we were greeted by Master Oda, Shang, Shao, and Jin.

"Ah, samurai, you've returned." Master Oda said. "How did the mission go?"

"It went alright, master." I answered. "But we suffered a loss."

"Who?" Master Oda asked.

"Lara, she was killed." I simply answered.

"I see..." he said.

"Are you going to be alright, Laura?" Master Oda asked her.

"I'll get through." Laura answered.

"What about the town?" I asked. "Are they alright?"

"They're fine, don't worry about it." Jin answered.

"The mission went a bit too quick, did it not?" Shang pointed out. "It took only two days."

"Yeah, Bear was surprised." Shao added.

"Well, we did have a little help." I answered.

"How intriguing." Master Oda said. "From whom did you recieve help from?"

"Well, I'll let you see for yourself, master." I answered.

Then Takeda materialised in front of everyone. They were very surprised, and Master Oda couldn't believe what he was seeing. Actually, they couldn't believe what they were seeing.

"Takeda?" Master Oda asked. "Is that you?"

"Yes, master." Takeda answered. "It's really me."

He was tearing up. We have never seen Master Oda tear up once before. Maybe the shock of him seeing his best student had made him tear up.

"Is that really you, Takeda?" Shang asked.

"Yeah, Shang, Shao, Jin." Takeda smiled at them. "It's me."

They were very happy, and so are we. Takeda, the samurai who had organised the samurai group in the first place, our best friend, leader, and teacher, he was finally with us.

Now all we have to do, is make up for lost time.
