BEING SAGITTARIUS

NUMBER ONE

I kept receiving love letters for the rest of the term and I kept throwing them in the bin. There really wasn't any room for distractions, I just needed to get the hell out of high school.
I told my mom about it and she had the best giggle trip of all time.

She said "I knew you were antisocial but not this bad honey. You're a young girl and he likes you. You have to live a little "

I was so furious about how lightly she took it. Well that,and the fact that it was true.

So I made up my mind and walked up to him on fine Monday morning. He was shocked when I tapped him on the shoulder from behind and said,
"Hey Lucas. What are you doing after school today? "

"Well I kinda have a spill over in detention so that'll be keeping me in Ms Linda's class till 6" He replied lightly twirling his shoes on the floor either out of embarrassment or just nervousness.

"Well I'll see you in detention "

I got in trouble intentionally and was given detention for the day. Saddest part was Lucas got out of detention on sick leave apparently and I was stuck there till 6.
(Just amazing!)

I got out tired and hungry as usual and walked straight to my car when I saw it. A big pink wrapped up box with my name and a letter attached to it. I picked it up and got into the car and unwrapped it and it was a really cute outfit. A light-cut sweater, blue stretchy jeans and crocs. And I must confess he had me at the CROCS. Well, whoever sent it had me at them. I found a letter at the bottom that read

Hey Thecla
It's Lucas. I'm sorry I bailed on detention. I had to get something done
Let me make it up to you. Meet me at the COLOURS CLUB when you get out.I'll be there waiting for you with a pizza or two.

I flushed so hard. I got into the back seat and changed into my outfit. It fit perfectly! But it was Size All so it fit everyone perfectly. Lol.

I got there around 6:38pm or so.

And there he was. Outside. Waiting for me.
