Chapter 5: The Date

Charli's Pov
I wake up to a loud bang and laughing. I slowly open my eyes and I'm still cuddled into chase. I feel chase move so I look up and I see him awake. "What was that"I ask him. "Probably Thomas shooting something for his vlog" he says and I laugh. I grab my phone and check the time. It was 10am. "What do you wanna do today" I ask him. "Why don't we just go out" he says. "Go out as in...?" I ask. "A date" he says. My heart flutters. "A d-date" I say. "Yeah do you want to" he asks. "Yes" I say and he laughs. "But I didn't bring clothes to change into" I say. "You look beautiful already though" he says and I blush. "Wait I'll ask Addison" I say and I jump up. "Alright but you better come back" he says and I stick my tongue out at him and laugh. I go out of his room. I search through the hallways trying to remember which rooms Addison's. Soon I find it and I open the door. Dixie and Addison are both awake. "Oh hey Charli" Dixie says. "Hey so um Addison I was wondering if I could borrow some clothes" I ask her. "Yeah what for" she asks suspiciously. "Oh uh just going out" I say. "Hmm" addi says and I smile. "Wait Charli is that chases hoodie" Dixie points out. "Uh no" I say. "Come on char I'm not stupid" she says. "I was cold" I say. "Yeah right" she says and I roll my eyes. Addison goes through her closet and pulls out a few outfits. I eventually decide on this one.

I leave the tan jacket off though. I go into her bathroom and I brush my hair. "Thanks Addi" I say and I give her a hug. "When will you be back from wherever your going" Dixie asks. "Oh um I'm not sure maybe around dinner time" I say. "Alright just be back in time because we have to get home" she says. "Why don't we just ask to stay another night" I say. "Ohhh good idea I'll text her" she says. We wait a few minutes to see what she says. "She said yeah" Dixie says and I get excited. "Alright see you guys later" I say giving them both a hug then leaving. I take chases hoodie with me. I make it back to his room and I open the door. I hear him in the shower so I just go and sit on his bed. I put the hoodie down next to me. I make a Tik Tok and I post it. I was getting a few comments talking about chases room but it's fine. I make a few others considering I have the time. Soon the shower turns off. I just sit on my phone and scroll through my socials. A little bit later chase comes out in this.

He looked really good. I watched as his eyes scanned my body. "Ready" he asked me. I nod. I get out of his room first and I just go straight out the door. I think we're taking my car so I get in. Soon chase comes out and I smile. He gets in the passenger side. "Wait were are we going" I ask him. "I'll pull up directions but it's a surprise" he says and I smile. He starts the gps and I start driving. He plays some music and we both jam out to it. He places his hand on my thigh and it makes me smile. Soon we made it to this really cute diner that served breakfast. We get out and he grabs my hand as we walk into the diner. We get seated at a table for two and he sits across from me. We immediately start talking. "Do you like the Diner?" He asks. "Yes it's adorable" I say and he smiles. We continue talking and soon we take our orders for our food. We chat some more until our food comes gets done then we eat. Once we finished eating we talked some more. "Thank you chase" I say. "For what" he asks confused. "Taking me on this adorable date" I say and I see him blush a little. I reached in my wallet for some money then chase already paid. "Chaseee" I say. "What I asked you to come" he says and I roll my eyes. We get up and he grabs my hand. We walk out of the diner and get to my car. We get in. "What do we do now" I ask him. "Mall?" He asks. I was surprised by his request but of course I excepted. He held my hand as I was driving. Soon we made it to the mall and we got out. He grabbed my hand and I looked up at him and smiled. He was so adorable. We went into the mall and went into a few stores. I didn't really buy anything. Chase bought a few chains and some jeans. We met some fans and got a picture with them. The mall was definitely not as busy as I thought it would be. Soon we finished shopping so we started heading back to my car. We then got in. He handed me a bag. "For me" I say. "Yeah open it" he says and I smile. I grab out a little jewelry box and in it is a neckless. It was a small heart with a c in it. "What's the C for" I ask. "Well it can be for you but it can also be for me" he says and I smile. He helps me put it on and I love it. "Thank youuu" I say and I reach over and hug him. We get interrupted by both our phones blowing up as we're getting tagged in photos. I open Instagram and I see Tik Tok room posted pictures of us holding hands. It was paparazzi from a far spying. "Are you seeing what I'm seeing" I say. "Yeah" he says with big eyes. "What do we do" I ask. "Uh I have no idea" he says and I laugh. "People are so nosey" I say and he laughs. "Alright where to now" I ask. "The beach" he asks. "Oooo great idea" I say and he smiles. He places his hand on my thigh and I start driving to the beach. Once we make it there we get out. I try rolling my jeans up as best as possible. Chase comes over and try's to help. I laugh. He grabs my hand and we start walking on the beach. It's fairly empty today which is weird. I let the breeze blow through my hair. It's relaxing. Chase sits in the sand and I sit next to him. We watch as the waves crash. I lay my head on Chases shoulder. We sit there for a while until we decide to leave. It's already 4pm. He grabs my hand and we walk back to the car. We get in. "Where do you wanna eat" I ask him. "Chick-Fil-A?" He says and I smile. "Of course" I say and he gets excited. We soon make it to Chick-Fil-A and there is a long line. We mostly talk most of the time then we get another notification. I open Instagram and people tagged us in more photos but this time chase was fixing my jeans and I was laying my head on his shoulder. "Really again" I say. "How does paparazzi even find us" he says and I laugh. "I have no clue" I say and soon we make it to the lady and she takes our order. We sit in line waiting to arrive to the window and I talk to chase. "This was a really fun date" I say and he smiles. "I'm glad you liked it" he says. I smile. We finally get our food so I park the car and we eat. We also talk some more. "What are we going to do about everyone else" I say. "What do you mean" he says. "You know Tik Tok room" I say. "Well the won't even know we're back" he says. "What do you mean" I say. "We'll sneak in" he says and I laugh. "Good idea" I say. We finished eating and I start driving back to the house. Once we make it there we both quietly get out of the car. I quickly text Dixie that I'll be home late tonight. She answers with an okay. Chase grabs my hand and pulls me inside as we open the door quietly. We both speed walk to his room and once we get there we sigh in relief. He locks his door. We both start laughing and we lock eyes. He moves closer pushing me against the wall. He places his lips on mine. Our lips move in sync with eachother and he pulls me up around his waist. I wrap my legs around him. He walks over to his bed and lays me on it. He kisses my neck then he moves down and around my tank top leaving hickeys along the way. He moves back to my neck and leaves another hickey on it. Then he moves back up to my lips. I flip him around and I start kissing his neck. I left a hickey then I moved to his lips. He flipped me back around and smiled. We continued kissing and his hands explored my body. Then there was a knock at the door and chase jumped breaking the kiss. "Chase are you in there" it sounded like nick. "No nick he's with Charli remember" Dixie says. Chase looks at me and signals me to be quiet. "Why's he's door locked" he says trying the door knob. "Ooo is he hiding something" Dixie says. I almost laugh but chase covers my mouth. "I don't know but I wanna find out" nick says. Chases eyes go big and he pulls me quietly. He signals me to go under his bed and then he crawls in after me. We hear the door open. "Wait how do you know his password" Dixie asks. "Oh uh don't tell chase but I watched him so I could get it" he says and chase has an angry face. I place my hand on his cheek and turn his fave towards me. I place my lips on his softly then I pull away. He smiles. It's getting hot under the bed like really hot. Dixie and nick are still in his room looking around. "I don't see anything" nick says. "Me either" Dixie says and we hear as they leave. Chase and I let out of breath of air and the we get out from under the bed. Chase goes and locks his door again. We both start laughing again. "I'm gonna have to have a little talk with Mr.Nick" chase says and I laugh harder. "Do you care if I shower" I ask him. "No not at all do you need clothes" he asked me. I nod. He goes over to his drawer and grabs out some sweats. Then he grabs a hoodie. "Here" he says handing them to me. "Thanks" is say giving him a hug. I walk into his bathroom and I take a quick shower. I get out and I put on his sweats and hoodie. I steal his hair brush for my hair and I just leave it down to air dry. I go back out of the bathroom and he is laying on his bed. I watch him check me out. "You look beautiful" he says. "Thank you" I say and I lay down next to him. He pulls me into him and we turn on a movie to watch. It's only around 6pm. Dixie probably has seen that the car is back by now. "Hey chase I'll be back" I say. "Where are you going" he asks. "Oh I have to give Addison her clothes back" I say and he nods. I leave out of his arms and I slip out of his room. I go to Addison's room and nick, Dixie, and Addison are in there. "Oh hey I'm just returning your clothes" I say and Addi smiles. "Are those chases" Dixie asks with a smile. "Yeah I don't have any other clothes" I say and she laughs. "You two would make a cute couple" she says and nick and Addison start laughing. "Oh shut it" I say and leave out of there room. I don't even bother going up to the top floor I have a feeling people will ask me questions. I quickly slip back into chases room. He's still watching the movie. He turns to me and smiles. He holds his arms out and I go and cuddle him. I lay my head on his chest and watch the movie. He plays with my hair and I slowly fall asleep.
