Chapter 7: Packing

Charli's Pov
I wake up to loud shuffling. I open my eyes and rebel is still on my bed sleeping. I look over at my phone and chase is awake and I see him walking around in his room. I look at my phone confused. "Chase?" I say in my raspy morning voice. I watch as he looks around and realizes that the sound is coming from his phone. He grabs his phone and smiles. "Goodmorning" he says. "Goodmorning" I say back with a smile. "What are you doing" I ask. "Well it was supposed to be a surprise but... WERE GOING TO THE BAHAMAS!" He said excitedly. I say up and grabbed my phone. "Wait with who?" I ask him. "Madi, Chris, Sebastian, Avani, Anthony, You, Me, Nick, Addison, Dixie, and I think that's it" he says. I get excited. "Who are the rest of the people" I ask. "Well you already know Nick, Addison, and Dixie but, Madi is a really sweet girl and she is dating Chris I think you two will get along. Avani is also really sweet she is apart of the hype house just doesn't live there and her "friend" Anthony. But everyone knows their more than that" he explains. I giggle. "Oh my gosh I better start packing and I gotta tell Dixie!" I say. "Don't worry Addison already blurted it out" he says and I laugh. "I can hang up and let you pack" he says. "Nooo I want you to help me pick out some outfits" I say. He smiles. "Okay I'll stay" he says and I laugh. "I'll be right back" I say setting my phone down. I go to Dixie's room and she's packing. "Did you ask mom?" I ask her. "Yeah she said yes" she said and I jump up and down in excitement. "I'm gonna pack" I say and Dixie nods. I run back to my room and grab my phone. "One second chase I have to make a Tik Tok" I say and he just answers with a simple "okay." I open Tik Tok and show my suitcase and me putting stuff into it then I post it. I go back to the call. I get a lot of notifications from people commenting and liking the post. I see chases name pop up. "Heyyyy" I say and he giggles. "I'm your #1 fan" he says and I laugh. I open the comments and they are mostly about where I'm going. I answer some of them with the eyes emoji just to make them guess. I go back on the FaceTime and I begin packing. "1,2, or 3" I say. "2" he says unsure what he chose.

It's been around two hours and I finished packing everything that I could possibly need for this trip. Chase has been done packing but he just talked to me the whole time. "Hey chase when are we leaving" I ask. "Around 4" he says and I nod. I am a little hungry. "Hey chase I'm gonna go eat" I say and he pouts at the camera. "I'll be back" I say and he just nods his head. I leave my phone on my bed. I leave out of my room and go downstairs to grab something small for breakfast. Dixie seems to be doing the same thing. We talk. "Are you excited?" I ask her. "Definitely" she says. We talk some more and once we're done eating we both go back up to our rooms. It was around 2pm and we still needed to drive to the hype house. "Hey chase I have to go I'll see you soon okay" I say to him. "Okayyyy" he says and I giggle and hang up. I go and grab my plane ride outfit.

I left my hair down and just brushed it. I put on deodorant and perfume then I quickly brushed my teeth and grabbed my bags. I ran downstairs and said by to our parents and threw my stuff in my car. Dixie came out the door shortly after kind of rushing. We both get in my car and I start driving. Soon we make it to the hype house and we have time to go inside. We just leave our bags in the car considering I'm drying some people to the airport. We go in and everyone that's going is already there talking. We go introduce our selves to the people we didn't know. Everyone was so sweet. I think chase was right I could tell Madi and I would be friends. Madi and I started talking immediately and it felt as though we've always been friends. I couldn't see chase anywhere. I was confused. "Hey Madi I'll be right back" I say. "Okay" she says with a smile. I go straight to chases room and knock on the door. No answer. I put the code in and I open his door. He's asleep on his bed. I go over to him and slowly run my fingers through his hair. I watch his eyes slowly open. "Charliiii" he says in an excited tone. He pulls me down and I hug him. "You know we're about to leave right" I say and his eyes go big. "How long did I sleep for" he asked. "I don't know" I say and we both laugh. "We can put your bags in my car" I say and he smiles. I pull him up and he groans. "Come onnn" I say and he laughs. I help him grab his bags and we take them to my car. We throw his stuff in my trunk and we go upstairs back to we're everyone was. They were all still talking. "Alright everyone whose ready for the Bahamas!!!" Madi yelled and we laughed and said goodbye to everyone who wasn't going. Soon we all started filing downstairs and we got into cars. Chase called shotgun in my car. Dixie,Addison,and nick. Anthony was driving Avani,Madi,Chris, and Sebastian. Dixie takes the aux and blares music and we all jam out on our way to the airport. After our drive to the airport we finally made it at 4:00. Which was bad because our flight took off at 4:40. So needless to say we were running. We all grabbed our bags out of the trunk and we ran inside to check the bags in. After that we went through the long security line. Once we all made it past security we all ran to our flight. We all were laughing while running through the somewhat quiet hallways. Soon we made it to the flight and people just started boarding. Everyone was out of breath while we waited patiently in the line. Finally after rushing for what felt like forever we all made it on the plane taking our seats. Chase and I sat together in the two person seat side of the plane. Avani and Anthony sat behind us and Chris and Madi say in-front of us. Dixie, Nick, and Addison sat in the middle row of the plane together a little bit farther up then we were. Chase let me have the window seat so I was pretty excited. Chase and I talked most the flight. He placed his hand on my thigh and I looked up at him and smiled. We still had a while before we landed and I was a little sleepy. Chase gave me once of his AirPods and we watched a movie on the plane together. I lay my head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me. Soon I fell asleep.

I get woken up by chase running his fingers down my arm. I get chills. I slowly open my eyes. "We're about to land" he says in a soft voice. I lift my head off his shoulder and I look out the window. It already looks so beautiful. The plane starts to land and I get a little nervous. I grab chases hand and he seemed surprised but he moved his thumb up and down on my hand to calm me. Soon we landed and the flight was already over. I let go of chases hand and he helped me grab my carry-on bag down. I thank him and we all start to get off the plane. It's currently almost midnight at the Bahamas because California is three hours ahead. I'm still exhausted. I think everyone else is too considering there eyes are fighting staying open. "Alright guys I know we're all excited but I'm exhausted and just want to sleep" Madi says. Everyone nods in agreement. "I'll lead you to the sweet there should be 6 rooms and 5 bathrooms with showers. So one of you will have to share. "Addison and I can share one with Nick" Dixie says. Madi nods. "Alright follow me" she says and we all groan as she leads us to the sweet. Once we make it to the sweet it's beautiful. We all go get a room. Avani and Anthony go get one of the rooms. Chase gets his own and so do nick and I. Dixie and Addison shared a room and so did Madi and Chris.

I was just laying on my bed when my door opened quietly. I look over and I see chase. He sneaks in and closes and locks the door. He walks over and lays on the bed next to me and lays his head on my stomach. "What's wrong" I ask him running my fingers through his hair. "Nothing I just wanted to see you" he says and I giggle. He lifts his head up and places his lips on mine. Then he slowly pulls away and lays his head back down on my stomach. I continue playing with his hair and I feel as he falls asleep. Shortly after I fall asleep.
