Today's a big day for Jennie and Chaeyoung, they're finally graduating. It's sad, yes, but they have finally achieved something. Their college life has been a one hell of a ride. Jennie had made it through, she knew she was barely holding on years ago, but this year, she had found a different source of strength.
And she was thankful for that.
Jisoo and her friends were there of course. And of course, Lisa isn't with them again. Jennie felt disappointed that her favorite silver-brown-gray haired girl couldn't make it on time. But she knew Lisa would kill just to be there, to watch her end this chapter of her life and begin a new one.
Chaeyoung is freaking out, which could only make Jennie smile. And having Seulgi and the others around, didn't help Chaeyoung to calm down.
They're just feeding Chaeyoung's thoughts more, causing the nervous blonde to freak out more. If Jennie was to look back months ago, she would agree if someone would call her crazy for crying like a child in front of a stranger
She's not going to have it the other way around. If it was the start of meeting a lot more crazy bunch of weirdos. And well, meeting the Lisa effin Manoban.
Jennie listened as Seulgi and Jisoo teamed up to make Chaeyoung even more nervous.
"I don't think Dae-dae here could continue or even save the reputation you guys had built for so long."
"Yeah, babe. Don't forget Dae-dae's been with us. And she's Lisa's successor. Just a little less than sarcastic and badass."
Everyone was enjoying how Chaeyoung kept on repeating and giving Dahyun her notes and reminder. Oh, Dahyun's going to give her shot into being a college girl. Lisa and the rest were proud and happy for their 'little one'. And Chaeyoung's handing her the group she had built since freshmen, they've seen enough of Dahyun's talent. So, there's no doubt on that."
Well, if you'll count Chaeyoung's doubt out.
Chaeyoung and Jennie found themselves being sandwiched in a group hug. They could never be more emotional, they're stepping out and is about to start the next page of their life. Especially for Jennie, it had been a crazy ride of a roller coaster for her.
They're emotional moments was cut when Hanbin arrived, bouquet of flowers in his hands. Jennie smiled widely seeing her best friend in one of her special day. The guy smiled back, as he greeted the other girls. Albeit, awkwardly the girls had learned to be casual with Hanbin being around.
It'd be inevitable. There's no way they could erase Hanbin in Jennie's life.
"Congrats, Jen. I'm sure your sister's so proud of you." Hanbin said, handing the flowers to the brunette which she gladly accepted.
"Why do I feel like you're not proud of me?" Jennie mocked. The guy chuckled as he shakes his head.
"I'm your best friend, Kim. Not your father." Hanbin retorted. Causing the two of them to laugh. If everyone didn't know better, they'd think that these two were 'best friends' who were in love with each other.
Well they were once, they was. But those feelings had resorted into a platonic one. And it's history.
Hanbin leaned in, whispering something into Jennie's ears which made the girl blush. She bit the inside of her cheeks to stop herself from tearing her face because she's smiling widely.
The girls, including Chaeyoung, frowned at the scene. She was ready to kill on her graduation day when her girlfriend stopped her, winking at her.
"Lisa told me not to kill him. You shouldn't too." Jisoo said with a confident smile. Chaeyoung was confused.
