“Eujun?”
Upon seeing a certain face, Eura's mind became blank. Her heart almost stopped. Hands started to shake. Nothing came out of her mouth.
She was frozen.
The surroundings didn't matter as she became too shock to react.
Her eyes kept it's focus on the screen. Eyes not leaving the curtain figure that caused a terrible difference in her.
...He is alive?
How? i thought–
“Eura! Eura!”
That sudden voice shook all the blankness in her body.
She flinched. She realised it's Haechan who's currently taping on her shoulder as he looked at her concerned.
“What happen? Are you okay?” Haechan asked all worried.
I don't have the strength to tell.
Thinking that Eura shook her head at Haechan. She forced a smile.
“I'm fine hyuck. I was just zoned out. Nothing serious”
Haechan didn't believe Eura. He knows something's wrong but he did not want to make her uncomfortable so he just nodded.
“Yo We are heading back” They heard Ten said.
Both looked at the screen and saw the previous scene completely gone. Only dead bodies and badly injured lying.
“okay” Both replied.
“We are done for today, let's go” Eura nodded and left the office with Haechan.
They grabbed some snacks and their way to the living room, settling on the couch.
Soon after, the boys came home looking tired. But somewhat proud faces. They succeeded and that means lot to them.
“Go clean up. I'll make food” Eura spoke.
“You cook?” Lucas asked.
“well yeah. Average skills” Eura replied.
“Good but don't burn the kitchen. We are starving” Kun said and Eura dramatically gave him salute. The boys chuckled.
The boys went left the living room.
Eura skipped her way to the kitchen. She went through fridge and cabinets trying to find things that will make a simple but good meal.
Hmm..I should go for fried rice and curry.
Then she started to prepare.
“Yo want help?” Haechan peaked.
“Hmm sure”
Several moments later they finally finished cooking. Fried rice and curry. The dishes are simple but since they have twenty one stomachs to feed, it was a bit hard. But they made it.
Smelling the tasty aroma, the boys started to lurk around.
“Woah! It's so tasty. Thank you noona!” Jisung spoke before shoving another spoon of curry down.
“thanks”
The whole time Eura got compliments from the boys, making her shy. Haechan got praised too except he was all cocky.
Spending time with them almost made Eura forget about him.
Almost.
