It didn't take long for the Republic to send it's fleet to Cyclonia to capture or kill Darth Cyclonis. As Republic troops landed in Cyclonia, a fierce battle broke out between Cyclonis's Sith remnant and the Republic. In the inner sanctum of the Sith Temple, Darth Cyclonis and Khem Val prepared themselves for one final battle.
Darth Cyclonis: This is it, Khem Val. Our final battle is upon us. The enemy has sought us out and now seek our destruction.
Khem Val: <I shall slaughter all who seek our death. I shall bring fear and terror to all our enemies.>
Darth Cyclonis smiled as she walked over to Tulak Hord's Mass Shadow Generator. Without hesitation, Darth Cyclonis activates it and a timer starts going down.
Darth Cyclonis: And so it ends.....
Darth Cyclonis and Khem Val then walk the corridors and enter the battlefield. Leading the Republic assault were Jedi Knights led by Tol Braga. As the Republic began cutting through the Sith, Tol Braga led a strike team of Jedi Knights inside the Sith Temple where
Tol Braga: It is over, Darth Cyclonis. Your forces are outnumbered. There is no need for further violence.
Darth Cyclonis: Foolish Jedi. The Sith may fall this day, but it will only be a matter of time before we rise again!
With that, Darth Cyclonis soon engaged Tol Braga in a Lightsaber duel while Khem Val attacked the other Jedi. Tol Braga proved to be a powerful Jedi in both the Force and his Lightsaber. Despite this, Darth Cyclonis was able to be every bit his equal.
Tol Braga: You are every bit as powerful as I imagined. The Dark Side is strong with you, but you are nothing more than a slave to it's corruption.
Darth Cyclonis: I am a slave to nothing! The Dark Side is my ally! My chains are broken!
Darth Cyclonis continued to duel with Tol Braga while Khem Val hacked his way through the Jedi. He lets out an unearthly roar as he cut down any Jedi who fought him. During their duel, Tol Braga lands a slash on Darth Cyclonis's abdomen. She ignored the pain as she unleashed a torrent of Force Lightning which stunned Tol Braga. Khem Val then grabbed the wounded Sith Lord and took her to the inner sanctum.
Darth Cyclonis: The end is near, Khem Val. But I will see to it that the Jedi invaders will die with me.
Using her pain and anger, Darth Cyclonis fought through the pain of her wound. It was clear that Darth Cyclonis would die in this temple. Despite her imminent demise, Darth Cyclonis simply smiled. She began to chuckle as she walked over to a Sith Holocron.
Darth Cyclonis: This Holocron shall be the Sith's salvation. Before the Mass Shadow Generator activates, I will pour my soul into this Holocron. I will then wait however long it takes for someone strong in the Dark Side to awaken me. The Sith will rise again....
As Darth Cyclonis spoke her words, she began the process of transferring her soul into the Sith Holocron. Soon enough, Tol Braga and the Jedi Strike Team breached the inner sanctum. In the face of imminent death, Darth Cyclonis spoke her final words.
Darth Cyclonis: Fools! All of you! You have lead yourselves to your doom! My spirit will live forever! Forever! The Sith will have their revenge! Even if you destroy my body, I will live on! You stand before death itself! Witness the true power of the Dark Side! My revenge shall spread over centuries! My revenge shall be eternal! I will shed the chains of my mortal body and unleash the power of the Dark Side upon the Galaxy! There is no hope for you here! Cry in despair! Drown in agony! Recoil in fear! Cower in awe! This is the power of a true Sith Lord! This is the power of the Dark Side! This is the power of Darth Cyclonis!
As Darth Cyclonis said this, the Mass Shadow Generator began to power up. All Jedi inside were at a loss of words.
Tol Braga: It...it cannot be......
Darth Cyclonis: Witness the legacy of Tulak Hord! Witness the full power of the Sith! I am free of all mortal limits! I have reached perfection! I will lead the Sith and destroy them! I will raise the Sith from death and make them stronger than before! I AM THE SITH REBORN! I AM THE SITH WHO SHALL RULE THE GALAXY! I AM THE ETENRAL LEGACY OF THE SITH! I AM THE SITH'ARI!
As Darth Cyclonis spoke her words, she transferred her soul into the Sith Holocron. As she did, her body collapsed.
Khem Val: <And so the Sith Lord became a Goddess of Darkness. May your vengeance be great and terrible, my master. Serving you have been my greatest honor.>
As Khem Val spoke these words, the Mass Shadow Generator powered up. As it did, it drew upon Cyclonia's natural mass shadows from the planet. Soon, all Republic ships in the vicinity of the weapon were suddenly drawn from orbit into a vast gravity vortex that was powerful enough to crush the countless ships into the planet's crust and fracture Cyclonia to it's core. All on the planet were killed. Despite the mass destruction, the Sith Temple stood. Cyclonia was soon reduced to a barren graveyard echoing with the deaths of thousands of beings. The death of Darth Cyclonis marked the end of the Sith Empire. Despite this, the spirit of Darth Cyclonis would linger in the Holocron for centuries to come until a being strong in the Dark Side would awaken her.
