You're walking home from school as a past a strip mall and see a dojo, Cobra kai, it must be new because you've never seen it walking home before. You decide to check it out interested in maybe taking classes there. As you walk in you see some kids from school, Miguel and Aisha.
"Hi." You say kinda awkward.
"Hey. Looking to take lessons here?" Miguel asked.
"I had thought about considering it."
"Cool. What's your name?"
"Y/n." You say.
"Nice to meet you y/n. I'm Miguel."
"I know we all go to the same school." You say as this older man with blond hair walks out.
"We're not looking to bye anything." He says.
"Huh?" You say confused.
"We don't want your thin mints or whatever it is you're trying to sell."
"I'm not selling anything. My name's y/n and I want to sign up."
He chuckles "You think you're qualified to be a Cobra Kia? Take off your shoes and get on the mat. Diaz take her on. Show us what you got y/n."
You get on the mat and stand in fighting position. You didn't tell them you've taken classes before and had a black belt before you makes here a year ago.
"You ready?" I chuckle.
"You better believe it."
He comes and takes a swing at me and I dodge it. Then I kick him and tackles him to the ground and have him pinned.
"Wow you're good." Miguel says.
"I know." I say smirking.
"Alright you're in only if you accept any way of teaching you I choose."
"Yeah um.. Okay."
"Be here at 4:30 tomorrow and bring your checkbook."
"I'll bring cash." I say walking out.
