Why is school here so damn hard?
Like, yeah. I get that it's much more fast-paced since demons are like superhumans, but still! How am I supposed to memorize all of that in such a short time? I got good grades back home for crying out loud!! Shouldn't this be easy??

Anyways, I'm currently walking towards the exit so I can meet up with this numbskull at the gates when I'm suddenly, but subtly, stopped by the only other human at this god-forsaken place. "Hm?"

I saw Solomon reach for my shoulder in hopes of getting my attention. "Hey MC! I was looking for you!" I wonder how long he's been searching for, it's really not that hard to spot me when school ends. As soon as that bell rings, I'm out.

"Did you need something?" I asked utterly confused.

"Yes, actually. Do you have anything planned for today? I wanted to go over some of our studies if you don't mind."

"I actually do, Mammon's expecting to meet up somewhere in a couple minutes..sorry!" I told him, kinda feeling bad for turning down his request.

"Oh, no worries! ..Perhaps we can do it another time?"
"Does Friday after school sound good?"
"Yup. I'll see you then!"
"See ya."

I don't know if it's just me but Solomon seems to be a bit more.. clingy? Clingy is an exaggeration...

I've noticed he's been around me a lot more often than usual. He talks to me during passing times and sees me during lunch. That's strange. I never knew someone could be so fond of me. I cockily said to myself in my head. With that idea stuck in mind, I arrive at the school gates with a smirk.

"You look stupid." was the first thing that came out of Mammon's mouth when I arrived.

  "Wow. Rude much?"
"What's on your mind that's got you smirking like that?" He asked me.
"Nothing that concerns you." I straight up said. "Now let's get going before I change my mind last minute."

He followed me as I walked to the boutique that he was talking about earlier. I admired the strange yet satisfying nature around me as I walked. How do these trees stay alive with no sunlight? I asked myself. I kept asking myself questions in hopes I'd remember them later so I can ask some knowledgeable people later. It really does look pretty downtown, the lights look amazing since it's always dark here in Devildom...

That's when I noticed something. My sixth sense was ringing, someone was watching me. I turn around to see Mammon turning away from my direction. Weirdo...

I stopped in front of a familiar shop, "This is it, right?"

"Yup. Helen's Vintage Boutique." He read what the store was called.

"Remind me what you did to upset this witch?" I turned and asked of him in a rather annoyed tone.

"That's not important anymore! You're already here, come on!" He avoided looking at me and grabbed my wrist to lead me inside the small store. When we stepped inside, we were immediately greeted by the store's clerk. She was a tall woman, about as tall as Mammon, wearing this floral dress that looks, as far as I know, from the 1940s. I gotta say, it looked pretty cute on her.

"Good afternoon! Are you two looking for anything in particular?" She kindly asked, her blue locks seemingly glowing.

  Mammon started, "We're good, thank-"
