I looked away again. Oh no. I might get in trouble, though I didn't do anything wrong. I began to walk away, but a hand grabbed me from behind. Taylor's. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"I-I don't want to get in trouble." I squeezed my eyes shut.

"You haven't done anything wrong, sweetheart." Her voice was meaningful and sweet. "I would've done the same thing if I was you."

I took a deep breath, and nodded.

A day later...

There was a knock on my door. Mrs. Ellison was standing in the doorway. She wore an expression I've never seen on her before. To be honest, I've never seen that expression on anyone before. It was a mixture of shock, disbelief, star-struck, and weirdly-excited.

"Destiny." She still had that weird expression on, and it was creeping me out. What the hell is going on? "There's someone to meet you. Pack your bag, and be on your best behaviour. Follow me." With that she just stood there watching me with hawk eyes and telling me everything I must do. But I was too bewildered to think much about it. The only thing that was going through my mind was a single thought. I might get adopted.

Five minutes later...

We took a secret route, waving in between the rooms. I didn't know why, and asking Mrs. Ellison won't help. All she does is stay silent or answer with  flat "The visitor doesn't want to be seen." Time passed, and I was starting to get nervous.

I was about to ask who the visitor was, and brace myself for the chilly response when we bust through the last group of doors to a room. I gasped.

Because standing in the middle, wearing a cute black dress and looking undeniably stylish, was the one and only  Taylor Swift.

She gave me a heartwarming grin as I entered. "You'll be with me." Does that mean... Then I noticed the paper on the desk, the ones that were only there when someone get adopted.

"No..." My mouth dropped so low I lost track of where it was

"Yes, Destiny. I'll be adopting you." Her grin spread wider, and I fell into a gasping fit. Taylor me into a hug, and I think this might be the best thing in my entire life.
