Chapter eighteen

Hearing the door shut automatically looking up from my desk expecting to see Avery walking in with that it's Monday morning don't look at me or I'll punch you out look. Smiling to myself wondering if what she had said about her finding somewhere else to go was really true? I thought telling her that I liked her was the right thing to do she had to know and I couldn't keep it a secret forever.

It's a been a week I would have thought she would have at least messaged be back or something! She really did seem upset when I told her I liked her, I knew her going into this thing with Harry was a really bad idea. Looking up again to see Karen walking this way wanting to stop her and ask her what's going on with Avery.

"Karen" speaking up just as she walked by, Stopping to look at me with a smile. "Uhh do you know where Avery is"? Walking back to stand in front of my cubicle her smile still on her face. Did Avery quit because of me? I hope she didn't!

"Avery will be back next week sometime, she tagged along with Harry for one of their concerts so she can finish her article" keeping it simple she walked away. Tagged along? Wow Avery is getting in deep with him I wonder if it's to late to save her?

My mind wouldn't stop thinking about Harry and Avery, pulling up Google typing in Harry styles. The first to pop up was a picture of Harry and Avery together only her name is changed to Christina and it saying "pop star Harry styles has found the one"? Clicking the article I couldn't believe what I was reading!

After reading the first paragraph I shut off my computer not wanting to read anymore of the bullshit Google was giving me. I miss my best friend and I want her back! I can't wait till Harry finds out the real truth about Avery.

So hey guys I know that chapter was really short and really shitty but it was the best I could do for Connors point of view. I couldn't really think of anything else to come up with. Are you enjoying the story so far?
