A Granger Family Reunion

Hermione's P.O.V

I opened the envelope and unfolded the letter. I sighed and read the letter to my family.

Dear Hermione,

It's time for the annual family reunion. I'm sorry but this year you must attend, grandma's not taking a no for answer and I don't think she believed the excuses we used last time. And we would love it if you would come, the family misses you dearly. Well al least some of them do. The other letter from your cousin should have more information.

I set the letter down and looked at my family. They didn't say anything. I picked up the other letter and that one too.

Dear Beaver,

My mother wanted me to write this to you so I'm going to do this my way. First off don't think you're gonna be getting any hugs or kisses from me. Secondly it's from July 1-7 at the Emerald Lioness hotel. I bet that place is too much for you to book a room so Sylvie will be paying for it. Bring your family if you have any (which I doubt). Be there by ten o'clock sharp. And  a piece of advice for you so I want you to listen and listen good. GET A LIFE BEAVER AND STOP LIVING IN YOUR PARENTS HOUSE. AND OH YEAH STOP WORKING AT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT AND GET A DENTIST.

I sat the letter down in disgust and looked at my family. Stell was the first to say something.

"It's her, VG, Veronica Granger that's who said she was engaged to dad," she said.

"I knew it, it had to be her. It would only be right," I thought.

"Do you want to go," Draco asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah kids go pack your bags we'll leave tomorrow," I said.

The kids ran out the room already trying to see who could get ready first.

"I'll miss the first three days. I have to go check the hotels for the fourth of July special. But I'll be back as soon as I can," he said as he walked over to me.

"That's fine," I said. I gave him a hug.

"Are you okay Mi," he said.

" Yeah, I'm fine can't I just hug my husband," I said.

He pulled away from me and looked at me and smirked.

"Try saying that without the tears and runny make up," he said. I hit his arm playfully and gave him another hug.

"I'm so lucky to have you and the kids," I said.

"I should be saying this to you. Without you I would probably be dead from drinking away my sorrows. You helped me get myself together and I love you all the more for it," he said.

I chuckled " I guess we're pretty lucky to have each other," I said.

"I love you Hermione, more than life itself," he said wholeheartedly.

"I love you too," I said sincerely. 

"You realize your going to have make up on your shirt from me crying," I said.

"That's alright, that way everyone will know that my wife loves me and trusts me enough to cry on me," he said.

"If you had said that twenty years ago I wouldn't have believed you," I joked as I walked to the bathroom to fix my runny make up.

"Thanks Mi if you weren't my wife I would have been offended," he said pretending to be offended. 

There was a crash from the hallway and a scream.

Draco's P.O.V

I ran out to see what was wrong. Aries was coming towards me with a angry look on her face and a ferret in her hand. She had neon orange hair.

"What happened," I asked.

"Scorpius thought it would be funny to change my hair color so I look like a clown. So I turned him into a ferret," she said.

I was silent for a bit. I thought back to my Hogwarts years when I was turned into a ferret. Another crash from the hallway brought me back from my thoughts.

"What is that noise," I said.

"They're just throwing their suitcases downstair to they don't have to carry them," Aries said.

"We're going to get thrown out of here," I thought.

The doorbell rang and the ferret let out a noise.

"It's Jillian," Stell yells from downstairs.

"Let me go show you to your girlfriend," Aries said grinning know her brother was embarrassed. 

I smiled at his crazy family and went downstairs to greet his guests.

"My life would never be ordinary again," I thought.

Oh my gosh guys I'm sorry I forgot to update 😢. I totally am over working myself. I'll mostly be updating every Wednesday. But if I can I will come back and update other days.
