Here I go, getting talked into things again. Why do I play with my little siblings again? I guess that's one answer I'll never get. They say "HEY! COME PLAY WITH US!" do their puppy eyes and then drag me out with them. sigh. I really don't get how I get into this mess, I guess it just falls onto me. Ha, no pun intended, I'm playing fall and die, it's a game that my family made up, and it involves me fake dieing to them pushing me over. I don't like it one bit because it always ends up with us playing it in the desert, EVERY TIME. I just wanna leave and find a new home, at least I'm almost done with high school, then I can escape this place and go to college, If they want to talk to me, they'll have to text me or come over (even though I'd ignore them at the door), if they want me to live with them, they gotta give me some personal space.
} THE NEXT YEAR {
FINALLY!!!! I'M AT COLLEGE!!!!! AND AWAY FROM MY CRAZY FAMILY!!!! Away and living at college. FAR, FAR, FAR away and living at college.The college I'm going to is halfway across the desert from here, of course I need to travel there before school starts and since it's such a long way away, I'll need to leave earlier than normal, so I'm packing today, leaving tomorrow. OK! Check list time! clothes, check - backpack full of full water bottles, check - backpack full of food rations, check - soap for at college, check - hairbrush, check - my money jar, check - personal hygiene stuff, check - shovel, check - picaxe, check - hatchet, check - first aid kit, check - 3 flash lights and lots of extra batteries, check - my traveling chromebook and phone, check - two pairs of extra shoes, check and, hmm . . . I think I got everything . . . yah, that's it. Ok, now I have to wait for tomorrow.
} THE NEXT DAY {
Time to leave! Let's hope I don't get lost! Time to say the formal goodbye, *gives a small nod, slams the door and bolts shouting BYYYYYEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) * TA DA!!!! :) Yah, I'm sure they loved it. ;) Especially when I slammed the door in their face, oh man, I hope I remembered everything! WELP, guess it's time then, to the train station, I went down the road and turned left to see that the train station was getting "renovated" *sigh* now I'll have to walk all the way there, I guess I sorta expected it so that's why I prepared for it, but they didn't have to actually pay attention to my life! Those creeps! WHY DO YOU THINK I'M LEAVING YOUR TOWN?!? BECAUSE YOU SPY ON ME!!! *SIGH* I don't know why they follow me around, or why they don't seem to let me out of their sight, but I think it has something to do with the fact that my mother says I remind her of my father the most out of everyone else in the household, even though, when I looked at the picture of him, I looked the most different from him than pretty much everyone else in my family, so I think there's something else to it . . . Anyways, I'm going to just WALK there then, because it's either THAT or MY MOM drives me. And I know EXACTLY how THAT'LL go. Keyword *go* because that's exactly what it WON'T do. AKA, SHE WOULDN'T HIT THE GAS AND WE WOULDN'T MOVE AT ALL. So I'm gonna be walkin' through the desert.
}THREE DAYS LATER{
I think I took a wrong turn . . . OH, I think I know what I forgot. I forgot my map. Whoops, guess I DIDN'T get everything . . . WELP, I guess I can't really turn back now. OH, I only figured it out now because I ran into something that ISN'T dessert. At first all I noticed was that the "dunes" were getting steeper and a bit harder to traverse. Then I looked up and into the horizon and lo and behold I saw, through the sand, dirt, stuff that was somehow getting kicked up in front of me even though there was nothing there, fade away and show me a HUGE MOUNTAIN RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I KNOW, A WHOLE MOUNTAIN! That wasn't even the weirdest thing, the mountain wasn't even made out of stone or even rocks, well I guess it was rocks, but not any of the normal rocks that I'm used to seeing. They were, well, I'm not sure what they were, but they were SOMETHING and that's something when you live your whole life in a dessert. All I can really say is that it was very colorful. I hope nobody notices I'm not at college . . .
