"Where are you, Clyde?!" I stomped my feet as I walked around the halls of UP Law.

I'm freaking on deck and my civil code is with Clyde who's still not here! I need that freakin code!

Tiningnan ko ang wristwatch ko at halos mag-panic na ako sa oras. I barely have three hours! I need to practice pa!

Agad kong kinuha ang phone ko at tinawagan ang magaling kong pinsan.

"The hell, saan ka na?!"

"Area 2."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko.

"The fuck are you doing there?!"

"Kumakain ako. Nagugutom ako." I groaned in frustration.

"Bwisit. Pupuntahan kita! I need my freaking codal!" sigaw ko ay mabilis na bumaba ng law building.

Nagpanic pa ako habang naghihintay ng jeep papuntang a2.

Talagang masasabunutan ko si Clyde!

Pagkababa ko ay agad akong tumakbi papasok ng a2. Wala na akong pakialam kung sino ang mabangga ko. I was asking him through text kung saan siya kumakain pero ang gago hindi sumagot. Now, I have to check every freaking store!

Wala sa daan ang tingin ko at nasa mga tindahan kaya agad akong napahinto nang mabangga ako sa kung saan. Shit.

Agad akong tumingala, but then I was stunned when I recognized who I bumped into.

His hair was still the same. His features matured though. For the first time in three years, I saw him again. Right after he won MVP in season 84, he flew to the states to follow his dream.

I composed myself.

"Sorry, nagmamadali ako," I casually said and was about to walk away when he spoke.

"You're not lost anymore." Napahinto ako at binalingan siya.

Umirap ako.

"Of course. It's my school now." I raised my Law School ID. He smiled.

"Nice."

I flashed a small smile.

"Yeah, you too." Tumango lang siya. Sandali kaming nagkatitigan saka ako bumuntong-hininga at tumalikod na.

Five years since I bumped into him for real. It started with me being his fan, then we eventually became friends. I'll be a hypocrite if I deny that I did have feelings for him. But there are just things to be consider first. The priority, kumbaga. I don't want to enter into something kung alam kong di ko rin naman mapapanindigan. Juan deserves more. Masaya na akong naging kaibigan niya. Masaya na rin akong maging fan lang. Some things just need to stay as they are to avoid complications.
